Even if you take that angle after his performances early in his career he should've been out of the league after the first few years and not even eligible for back up spots. The main point of the article is he's been given a ridiculous amount of chances and in spite of all of that and his shytty performance he took his benching like he was Brady.

Edit:
Even looking at the overall argument of white privilege it doesn't make any sense Ponder still has a roster spot in the NFL and how dedicated and patient teams have been to Tannehill, Bortles, and Gabbert

Yep that is the point exactly. As I said before the QB position is affirmative action for white folks. The league wil draft black QBs to give the illusion of inclusion and release aka kick black QBs out the back door all at the same time.

Not true. The NFL is known for telling black QBs we dont have a spot for you because you don't want to be a backup. Then when said black QB says I am fine with being a back the NFL says well we don't have any spots for you.

Read up on the situation with Culpepper when he was going to the owners meetings to get a backup gig.

The dirty secret if you were a great to good black QB you either staying being superman or you are out the league. There is no in between most of the time. Some like James Harris said this is so you won't take any young white QBs spot if said black QB is a backup.

But we can easily see how black QBs are treated down to the lack of weapons. How the teams, media and fans treat them once they are paid. Along with how they have to prove their worth game to game and qtr to qtr. Or its ummm maybe we should go with the backup.

Really arguing there aren't or haven't been any backup black quarterbacks? Really?

He barely played early in his career and he put up the numbers of a typical backup during his stint with the Bengals. Out of the league is a total stretch.

He's been given chances to be a backup and has lucked into opportunities because of injury/other guy sucking even worse. He's far from the only example of this.

You talk about an article being poorly written, but you seem to lack reading comprehension.

What you said is the point of the article, he was never shyt, he was never a franchise QB, but he has that same sense of ENTITLEMENT, and also HE IS GROSSLY OVER PAID

dumb ass cacs I swear

Yes really you simpleton.

The whole point of the article is the fact he has the nerve to bytch and moan when he has done jack shyt in the league his entire career and should be grateful he's even in the league, the comparison with the black QB's were to show those who performed at his level and even better than him were not even given chances to stay in the league has backups and pretty much had their careers ended, yet this bum as a fat contract and constantly rewarded for being below average.

Lovie/Jerry Angelo deferred too much shyt to Martz. The Bears traded Greg Olsen to Carolina because Martz's offense doesn't usually use a TE to catch passes :beli:

That was at a time when they had receivers like Johnny Knox ie. no threats. Cutler had a good rapport with Olsen too..

That writer hit all the points though :salute:

Breh I believe that the mckaskeys had the final call in all this shyt. This is the reason movie would never bench Rex and why the bears never traded for McNair when they had the chance or pick up McNabb.

The NFL has always had serious issues with having black QBs start and having black head coaches. To top it off they have also been extremely scared of having a black head coach and black starting QB at the same time.
