When you listen to albums like TPAB, Documentary 2.5 or music anything from Nipsey Hussle or YG, you can hear the G-Funk influence alive and well. Current Westcoast artists do a great job of balancing and mixing it into modern Hip-Hop sounds.

That Rosecrans album with Quik and Problem from a production standpoint is just :wow:

If it was to be done by a new group of MCs and producers from the West Coast? :patrice:

Could it be successful in 2017? :jbhmm:

Getting back to those funky ass samples of groups like Parliament Funkadelic, Zapp, The Meters, Cameo and artist like Johnny Guitar Watson. :stylin:

Heartbreaker is the truth! :ohlawd:

I don't know, that's a good question. :patrice:

This classic reminded of that classic. :whew: I've had this in heavy rotation again for weeks now.

G-funk is the most :flabbynsick: sound ever. Bomb Squad's beats aged better than a lot of G-funk. Some of it is obviously timeless but outside of a handful of people it sounds extremely dated and generic. A lot of it didn't age well. and im sure we'd all agree on the projects that did age well

I don't think so , at least for not for black people

Samples are EXTREMELY expensive , major labels only use samples when they want a hit
