Went to Duke but doesn’t want to play in Charlotte? :skip:

DC is a big market and would be a good place to pay, the roster and ownership though :whoa:

No way he turns down the bag even if he ends up in Orlando.
The premise of the tweet was pure stupidity and conjecture, but it's hilarious that your brain can't process how these two don't relate to each other.

Depending on his mental, it may be best. Cant really criticize the decision if he aint there yet.

Financially is doesnt make sense. It also doesnt mean those teams wont be trash again next yr and win the lottery.

Those teams seem to not have a future if it aint in the draft. Thats there only option.

Doubt it but it would be nice to see a player do this. It would be hilarious seeing teams that tanked all year rewarded with nothing.

I wouldn't want to be on the Wizards, but the Hornets seem like they could be prime for a comeup in the East if they get a great player in the draft.

If he’s projected to go in the top 5 (2 or 3) then he has to go. Worse case scenario he gets hurt the next year and that would cause a major drop in the draft.

The fact that this is being talked about in here like this is serious is crazy. As long as the system is set up for guys to leave after one year, they will do that, period. Also any team he goes to, whether he comes out this year or next year will be garbage because you don't need to be a genius to figure out that's how they're able to get him in the first place. I remember they started this talk with Zion before he came out because he had a quote talking about he wanted to stay. It won't happen.

Charlotte is a completely unserious franchise, you go there to get your numbers up for a max contract then leave. LaMelo will never play meaningful basketball in a Hornets jersey, them nikkas playing 2k pickup games out there

The league might press them to stop bullshytting if they get Flagg but he'd most likely just stay long enough to get that rookie max then bounce, especially if all of the owners are gonna copy the Mavs and stop just giving guys the supermax just because their eligible for it

I don't believe it. But we'll see. I'm not so Hyped about him. Let the chips Fall where they may but with a flattened lotto chances are the wizards will be in Harper/ ace bailey Territory.
