who cares? If it's about disciplining the player you shouldn't care how good he is. Nobody's above reproach on that squad, let alone a player who got wasted and punched a wall and cost himself 64 games due to his stupidity. If Flip had such a problem with Shabazz (and he did), DON'T PICK SHABAZZ! Flip is still mad he picked him, that's why he wants to act all hardbody on him, not because of the incident. Shabazz is the best scoring wing they have besides Martin. Of course Flip doesn't give a fukk if it costs him down the line. He'll never get fired again.

I understand flips stance on this. He know its Minny and players take it for granted because of its location and want to prove that it's player>>organization when it comes to the T'Wolves organization. He has the perfect coach that can enforce his vision and philosophy at least when sit comes to shabazz.

Being a dikk to a player you blatantly regret picking isn't gonna help matters. Shabazz is fine with being in Minnesota. Flip ain't. Flip treats the Shabazz pick like autodraft took over.
The problem Flip (and the organization) has is that they've been burned by character issue players, so when someone even remotely has those characteristics, regardless of the talent level, they're ready to be done with you. They overvalue character to a fault, to where they'd rather lose with choir boys than win with someone mercurial. What Glen specifically doesn't realize is that this line of thinking has kept good players away because of a fear he has that they'll all be like Steph, or JR, or McCants.

I don't have a problem with the team being unhappy with Shabazz over this because it was a dumb unavoidable thing, that only he couldn't follow. I get it, but save this anger for when Shabazz costs the team games. Save it for those 4-5+ game losing streaks. Save it for when someone else on the team does something stupid ON the court. It's so typical of this franchise to not care about that.
If he wants to flex his nuts so bad, the next time Minny's down 25 and Corey Brewer has a shyt eating grin on the bench, I want Flip to stop sexting McHale, come down from the skybox, walk across the court to the bench, slap the shyt outta him and walk upstairs like it was part of the job. At least I'll know his intentions were good.
