The police released another video today after the parents and lawyers lied and said that the cops lied about taking off their uniforms and trying to get in the pond......and now everybody that was on the parents side is looking at the parents and their lawyer funny

its terrible that these girls are dead, but, if you steal a car and drive it off the road into a marsh, you dont get to sue the state for not saving you. im sorry but i think thats bullshyt

even if the cops lied and said they tried to help...there's not guarantee them trying would have done shyt. frankly it wasnt possible from those pics and facts. what exactly are they suing FOR?

Going to repeat what is already said, but basic physics is going to make opening that car door once its submerged very tough to do. The pressure differential between the outside and the water pressure and the inside of the car makes opening the door more difficult They should of immediately opened the windows and swimmed out. The girls in that case would have to open the windows or the cops needed to break them.If they were power windows, then the windows probably didn't work and the only option at that point is to break the windows. However, this is a really fast moving situation.

At most maybe the cops seemed callous or lying about going into the water.

Yeah man...this is a sad situation but its dark at night and the car is completely submerged in an algae covered pond. It would be stupid to just jump into that shyt. See the marsh in the background and how the entire surface is covered. Once they went in, that car probably disappeared from sight under the green.

It wouldn't be safe to just jump in that shyt in the dark.

Given that the pond was completely covered with algae, I think they're lying about going in. In fact, if they said they didn't go in, I wouldn't blame them. No intelligent person is diving into that shyt in the dark. You can't even see your hand in front of your face in that situation WITH diving gear.

So yeah, they're definitely lying. However, at the same time, like I said, they honestly couldn't do anything until they can get someone tow the car or get divers to do something.\

Really don't want to come off as an apologist, but no sane person is swimming or able to do anything under water in the dark in someplace like this.

Not sure if I'm following your post correctly but, you're basically saying that there was another video released today that shows the parents and lawyers "lied" and said that cops lied about trying to help? The cops are the ones who put that information in the police report, not the girls' parents and lawyers

The police chief at the press conference said that some officers got in the water but stopped after they seen it was too deep and muddy......and the parents and lawyer said the cops lied about doing that since it wasn't in the original video that got released to public/news......and everybody in this area was thinking the cops lied too.............but they posted a video today because they was getting tired of being lied on ..and the video showed that some cops took off their uniforms

As officers you gotta be a stand up person. For them to lie and act as if they tried to rescue those girls, when in reality they were just standing on the sidelines talking about hearing the girls screems and basically saying "It's Over" is totally worng and deserves outrage.

You know how often cops are TRYING to be heroes on the daily? But yet, in this situation, he took off his cape and clocked out and watched as girls (criminals) drowned. Did you not hear the comments they made? Go back and have a listen. You don't need to see them playing basketball as the girls drowned to know that they didn't try their best to be the HEROES that they are always striving to be. What I'm saying is that their lack of urgency is directly related to the race's of the 3 drowned victims.

Yep. I feel if those girls looked like those officers daughters or their daughters friends, I feel as if they would be more urgent with their rescue attempts.

i also dont think that if this was a stolen car full of white kids, they would have jumped in either they would have taken it more serious, yeah. but again i dont think that ultimately saves anyones life, it was impossible
