lets be dead honest; what could some cops who showed up in police cars have physically done about this in the first fifteen minutes? you think you can walk thru that shyt^^^^^^^, pry open a car with no leverage?

the comments they were making are disgusting, but as far as a rescue? i gotta be honest, thats kind of a ridiculous expectation
Are you saying it took 15mins for the car to completely submerge? That's not alot of time to break the windows with their batons? The officers said they could hear screems while they were just standing around watching the car sink. It was almost as if they were standing around watching a bonfire. I'm gonna need another vid of the situation.

oh well. NEXT TOPIC

I'm not going in a fukking marsh myself if i was a cop.. like someone else said it's hard to open the doors and even if they shot the windows out the bullets could have hit one of the girls and they really would have got bashed by the public.... girls could have easily just pulled over and get arrested or suffer the ultimate penalty death.. they chose death

:stopitslime:If they hadn't stole that car they'd be alive. Nobody put them in that situation but themselves. The fact that they're 15,16 doesn't change the fact that they were criminals. Most people don't just change and make a complete 180• once they become adults. They were pretty much fukked when they landed in the pond.

If you look at the vid and also images of the area and given it was dark, that car probably disappeared under the algae very quickly. Also it doesn't take cars long to sink. Its not like the movie where it slowly sinks slow enough for the protagonist to dive in and save the person. Add on this is in a marsh, this is a sad situation but nothing much could be done in my opinion.

Cars aren't vacuum sealed so it fills up with water through various areas immediately once it hits the water. As it fills in, it looses buoyancy very quickly which only quickens the sinking until its submerged.

Ah shyt, I didn't see it was a marsh

Yeah man...this is a sad situation but its dark at night and the car is completely submerged in an algae covered pond. It would be stupid to just jump into that shyt. See the marsh in the background and how the entire surface is covered. Once they went in, that car probably disappeared from sight under the green. :francis::francis:

It wouldn't be safe to just jump in that shyt in the dark.

Marsh or no marsh, the car, ANY car, would have taken at least a few mins to become completely submerged..more than enough time for the police to at the very least make an effort.

If they could hear the girls screaming, as they joked to each other they could, then that means that the majority of the car was still very visible and a rescue effort was very much within the realm of possibility.

15mins is alot of time. But all in all, on one hand they say that there were officers who attempted to save them by going in, and on another hand the dash cam shows none of that. So they'll either have to admit that they believed a reacue attempt was achievable(since they claimed that some officers went in) or that they lied. Either way, the officers look worse by lying.

If I stole a car and lead the police on a high speed chase, then drove into the fukking ocean the last thing Id expect is for cops to save me.

But shyt if im innocent and somehow ran into the ocean them nikkas better save me :birdman:

Edit: I cant believe its 2016 and Im still saying this but theres good cops and bad cops. Not every cop is evil. Theres cops out here that would risk there life for yall even tho y'all saying they're all evil.

breh watch this video.

Depends on the vehicle. More volume(aka bigger cars like SUVs) will take longer than a car with less volume (like a sedan like the car these girls were driving(

The police chief at the press conference said that some officers got in the water but stopped after they seen it was too deep and muddy......and the parents and lawyer said the cops lied about doing that since it wasn't in the original video that got released to public/news......and everybody in this area was thinking the cops lied too.............but they posted a video today because they was getting tired of being lied on ..and the video showed that some cops took off their uniforms

All of it more :duck: tales until I actually see this video you're saying exists.

Was a rescue attempt beyond achievable if they claimed that officers tried to rescue them, but the video footage shows no such thing? Either way, the officers come away looking funny, because of a lie. Or a supposed lie. They put themselves in a catch 22.

You know how often cops are TRYING to be heroes on the daily? But yet, in this situation, he took off his cape and clocked out and watched as girls (criminals) drowned. Did you not hear the comments they made? Go back and have a listen. You don't need to see them playing basketball as the girls drowned to know that they didn't try their best to be the HEROES that they are always striving to be. What I'm saying is that their lack of urgency is directly related to the race's of the 3 drowned victims.

This is my main problem with this sh!t. I don't care about it being a "marsh" or dark outside, or whatever the hell else. Police, INSTINCTIVELY, throw themselves into far worse situations attempting to salvage human lives. And I guarantee if these were 3 white teenage girls, that's exactly what they would've done in this situation too.
