I don't really see much change to be honest. Most of the people actually doing the shootings have no formal training and aren't using legal guns and couldn't care less about 'gun laws'. They'd 'rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6'.


so now the demographic doing the shootings can now just waltz into a store and get the gun they need instead of going underground. now people who are too dumb to pass training can just get a gun. Now someone who doesnt know what a safety is can get a gun. One large line of deterrence against a tragic situation is now gone.

While 3,449 people died from gun violence in California in 2020, the state still has one of the lowest gun death rates in the country at 8.5 deaths per 100,000 people -- about 37% lower than the national average, according to data compiled by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention


it would be much, much higher without those laws.
