I cannot believe we have posters arguing the 16 yo should be forced to have a child when there is proof every day that children making children is an unmitigated disaster for a society.

16 year olds of all backgrounds are notorious for lack of discipline. Why? Because they're kids and it's in their nature as children.
The consequences of her actions also included being able to get a medical procedure. Personal discipline ie. minding your own damn business would negate this being an issue or a thread altogether.

I can’t believe this thread has gotten this far away from the key point of abortion rights and that is bodily autonomy. It was an important precedent to have and it was fumbled.
Somehow some of you are okay with a country that doesn’t have universal healthcare, doesn’t even have mandated maternity leave, plus the highest maternal mortality rate in any “developed nation”, (particularly high amongst black women) forcing women to have babies that will suffer, and forcing the woman to suffer and possibly even die. “But I’m pro life?” What about the teenagers life? “Well that’s different I made all perfect choices in my teenage years and never made a mistake, nope.” Pro life only until you’re born! Clearly
