And I'm glad you mentioned the part about juveniles surviving because they have adults to protect them. That shows that a broken leg alone isn't what leads to death for most animals in the wild. It's typically the lack of ability of that animal to protect itself or hunt for food while the leg heals itself. If the animal has someone to take care of it while the leg heals then it will ultimately survive. Thus proving your claim that false that a broken leg without medical intervention leads to death.
