I'd say ban all social media for children, but TikTok is particularly bad.This should be on parents, but at this point something needs to be done from outside the home. SM is ubiquitous.

American/Western/European way = when people can't take credit for something, they try and get it axed or try and tarnish it's reputation.
It's like when a kid gets mad because it's someone else's birthday and not their's. That's what this is really about. It's weak-minded/soft mentality.
Now how about ban all social media then if you're all that concerned about these kids?
Never mind the harsh language, bad takes and bad politics - you can straight up post porn on Twitter for kids to see. No state/pressure to ban that app though?
People just mad whenever someplace else or another ethnic group comes up with something people love and enjoy. Same story over and over.
I wonder how far we'd be if people didn't have that bias considering how many groundbreaking innovations come from around the world going back centuries that are meant to benefit everybody.

Your TikTok feed is almost entirely algorithm based. It's much harder to curate than others. It's also incredibly popular with kids.
