That article only takes in consideration Floyd's last 9 fights: Judah, Baldomir, De La Hoya, Hatton, Marquez, Mosley, Ortiz, Cotto, Guerrero....not exactly murderer's row considering where these opponents where in their careers at the time:ufdup:

The REAL link is CompuBox – Category Leaders where it shows that in Mayweather's CAREER he is at +24.

Let's do the math:heh:

If Floyd is at +30 for his last 9 matches, but has a total of +24 for his career....it should be fair for one to assume that his +/- for the rest of his career was at least +18.

Not any different than Saul Alvarez:youngsabo:

:umad: ?

I know it took into account his last 9 fights.....

SAME ARTICLE quoted 26% for Louis, the same 26% you quoted, so it took into account his prime fights also, NOT his career.... (let me guess, you don't have a link to prove it was for louis's career? ... Nice try...:smugfavre:... Does this n1gga think he can pull a fast one on me? LMAO ... You don't know who you're dealing with)

And as I already said, louis lost his 24th fight... he can't be on Mayweathers level...

Canelo has poorer stats, no HOF'ers beatin, and he has a draw on his record... Real killas aint bout that "draw" life, f*ck outta her...

I know your blood BOILING lol... Give it up son... You can't win this...

I only talk FACTS now...:manny:

Fistful of jewels
FACT: Joe Louis Lost in his 24th fight... So regardless of stats (which floyds still wins), he's not close to floyd... He got his a.ss beat before.

I'm only speaking in FACTS from now on.

In that case, Floyd is only halfway to the greatness of Julio Cesar Chavez.

Fistful of jewels
floyd's a alltime great with or without these stats
its a beautiful thing to have on his resume though
since boxing is about hitting and not getting hit

Boxing, like any martial art isn't about hitting and not getting hit. Its about beating your opponent so that you may live another day, no matter how its achieved.

He fought at middleweight for years so that makes him a middleweight. No matter what his natural weight was he fought for years there and won his first title there. I'll give you Corrales (but he was only very good not great) but Mayorga was overrated and with his style was tailor made for Oscar. Just cause Oscar beat him doesn't mean he was in his prime anymore.

He beat him in the first round :skip: F*ck outta here.

ill say this..there are a lot of you in this thread that clearly don't know shyt about boxing...certainly not enough to have a debate about any aspect of Floyd Mayweather without being a stan...venture into the official boxing thread sometime..there is a reason why it stays upped while threads like this fade away..like I said..i know a good amount of boxing sites and forums for info and videos that you can go to if you need to get your weight up on the sport

and the best way to achieve that is to hit and not get hit

Says who? Every man is built with different attributes. What works for Floyd will not work for Mayorga. Guess what Mayorgas biggest win is? Vernon Forrest, the guy who was supposed to outbox, out smart and easily beat Ricardo. What works for Margarito doesn't work for Amir Khan. Breidis Prescott was there to be a stepping stone for Khan, not knock him senseless. The goal of every fight is to win. Doesn't matter how pretty or ugly it is, what matters is if your hand is raised at the end of the night.

You only talk FACTS, but conveniently leave out the fact that the 2nd best boxer of all-time...according to your logic....beat HOFer Shane Mosley?

Some good points
But at the end of da day, if you dont get hit you dont get hurt
That punch for punch stuff is entertaining
But what makes floyd so great is his abilty to adapt. He never gets hit with da same punch twice, he has a very strong and tested chin, and he's one of da smartest boxers ever. He pretty much is playing chess with all his opponents
We've seen him win in a variety of fashions

He dont have no weaknesses, father time only way he'll lose

Oscar didn't beat mayorga in the first round :snoop:..Oscar scored a KD in the first but stopped him in the 6th

What in the blue hell are you talking about.

Whatever, knocked out, knocked down, it was a minute ago, I didn't remember. The fight didn't go 12 rounds, that much I remember, but how does it change the point that you're claiming he was on the decline, but comes back after damn near two years off and beats the current world champ? :whoo:

Cause he beat a world champion who was just a one hit wonder who made his name off of having Vernon Forrest's number. Between the second Mosley fight (which I thought Oscar won but have only seen it once) and the Sturm fight which he should have lost Oscar lost something as far as being at elite boxer anymore and his stamina was some shyt. It probably was the partying drinking and coke he was doing but by time he faught Ricardo and then Floyd he wasn't in his prime anymore. But even with that said Oscar gave Floyd one of his toughest fights till he ran out of gas.

You are a joker. This is what you posted earlier.

At some point, you have to know n1ggas get off on arguing something, even if THEY KNOW they are wrong... lol... That's when your life has entered into a sad state of affairs.

:smoker:

:skip: funny how you are still in here arguing.
