Sauce is 25, Quinnen is 27

lol @ a rebuild

yeah.....they now have needs at DB and DL, and probably the worst defense in the league. So they are probably going to burn some (if not all) of that capital just to fix that.

Hopefully they find some All-Pros to solve that, well temporarily, before they trade them in their prime like they did today.

That's kinda the point, no? Depending on what metric you use(YPG or PPG), the Jets are either the 20th or 27th best defense in the league with these guys. Either they're not a schematic fit for what Glenn wants to do, overrated or some combination of the two.

There's truth in that somewhere. As someone who dropped their flag years ago, just seems to me like the cycle continues. Snag great player/s in the draft, fail to build around them, and then sell high while they're still in their prime, rinse and repeat.

For Jets fans sake, hopefully Glenn and Co.'s football acumen is as good as they hope it is.

Hate this move. Sauce and Quinnen were part of the rebuild the last time and the team improved quicker than expected. All we needed was a QB/decent offense, but we cannot draft/develop a QB at all. I'm hoping that they draft well with the picks, but somehow (like always) they will probably screw it up. Colts/Cowboys picks dont look like they are going to be in the top half of the draft either.
