I believe in him as a leader of men. I hope the front office gets him some talent this offseason and doesn't scapegoat him after one year.
Same. I'm willing to give Glenn that Dan Cambell timeline to turn things around. He can be ass year one as long as there's improvement (which there hasn'tbeen yet). Solid year 2 and contending year 3.

Yeah, I'm with that too. I'm side-eyeing the GM more than the coach. That's mainly because of the Stephens contract and lack of a WR2. I'm also mad the LBs and DEs went from a strength to a weakness after one or two injuries to each group, though I'll give him the benefit of not expecting to lost pro-bowl caliber players so early.

Glenn has shown me nothing that makes me think more time will turn this around…yet. But it’s not the coach. No matter who is at helm captaining, it’s still a derelict ship the end of the day. Ownership is the only constant

I get why the (predominantly) white media is shytting on Glenn. Kinda surprised he's taking shyt here too. The roster is bad. I don't think it's as bad as the Lions roster was in 2021 but it's not much better. You basically have a handful of elite or really good guys and that's about it.

We won 3 games in 2021 with Campbell and Glenn, and all those wins were late in the season. The team played hard but was simply out classed every week by more talented rosters. Even bad teams were clowning us. If I do have a critism of Glenn...not sure the OC is the guy. Granted he's handcuffed by Fields' weaknesses but I just don't know if bringing him in was the move, knowing you didn't really have "the guy" at QB yet. Assuming he doesn't get fired it'll be more evident if he's the right or wrong guy next year with whichever rookie QB you draft.

We're tired of losing, but patient with Glenn.

It's a bunch of things.

1. Some fans never wanted Glenn in the first place because he's a first time HC who was a DC.

2. I think fans thought they could stomach the losing if it meant getting to 6-7 wins... they can't (even though 6 wins is not out of the question AT ALL. It's just that 0-4 means you can't even dare to dream about the postseason so fans feel like the year is already over and it's still 80 degrees outside)

3. Fans think there's too much talent on defense for it to look this bad (which is legitimate. They look better under Saleh)

4. This is really what pissed Jets fans off: Glenn is tryna convince fans that this isn't the Same Ol' Jets and John from Ronkokoma has too many emotional scars from this team over 40, 50 years to hear that from the coach when he hasn't won a game yet. I hear some shyt where Glenn was talking about how great the practice was this week. Usually that leads to the Jets getting these asses kicked in style. Cowboys -20.

5. Reality is starting to hit some of the fans: the current QB isn't good enough. They don't have a young one they can latch onto the way the Giants have with Dart. They notice that there isn't some savior QB at the moment in college so the losing feels pointless. The defense is regressing and the offense is boring. When your team is bad AND unwatchable and your coach is already projecting some of the tendencies of the earlier coaches who failed here, and it feels like the playoff drought isn't gonna end anytime soon. Jets might fukk around and go 4-1 to end the year and instead of being excited for how the team is progressing, fans will blame Glenn for costing them the top pick.

The bolded is kinda what fans are reduced to and Jets fans have shown that they simply don't wanna put up with it. They feel like they coulda been 2-2 had the D just done its job vs. PIT and TB. They may go 0-5 after tomorrow, get stomped on by Dallas (so America will be watching again) in a stadium that is gonna be 70% Cowboys fans. Jets fans are so mad at the current state that they don't realize that the hard part of the schedule is almost over.
