You will find some great cuisine at many gas stations here in Louisiana.

People who are from and have lived in Louisiana for quite some time tend to agree that New Orleans is not the best representation for our state when it comes to food.

Lafayette, Lake Charles, Opelousas, and surrounding towns are where you want to go.

......best food I had at the bottom was in NO..but not in the quarters.

I’m glad someone finally said it, that shyt is overrated. I visit NO often because I enjoy the people and activities but I always feel like I’m forcing myself to say the food is good because it’s supposed to be good. Everyone rants and raves about that bullsh*t but the people are solid. Never met a lame ass fake person from New Orleans.

You can find great food in Nola. I’m speaking on Louisiana cuisine.

You won’t find any type of Cajun/Creole cuisine that’s gonna match up with what is offered in Acadiana compared to what’s in Nola.
