North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
1990 - 97

Both got 4 rushing titles a piece :wow:

Now 1993 Emmitt held out the start the season so he only started 13 games. Barry Sanders was only played in 11 before getting hurt to technically it would've been a toss up had both played a full season.

You sir are a moron

Natrone Means even on his best day never had the vision or the quickness in small spaces that Emmitt Smith had

Obviously Emmitt wouldn't have been as good without that amazing o-line...but to act like that line made him is to prove you know nothing about football

Emmitt even without that o-line is one of the greatest backs in the history of the NFL...he wouldn't have the all-time rushing record...but he would have a top 10 rushing total and be a hall of famer

Those lions teams talent was always underrated. They had 2 All Pro offensive lineman Kevin Glover/Lomas brown and All Pro WR Herman Moore.

Brett Perriman was extremely underrated as well

Not if we are comparing them to the Cowboys. Glover and Brown and co. ain't fukking with Allen, Williams, Newton and co.. Moore ain't fukking with Irvin. I will give you Perriman. Where was the Lions' Novachek though? Where was their Aikman? Jimmy Johnson vs. Wayne Fontes :usure:

Yes those Lions had talent no doubt (top offense in the L one year) but those Cowboys were among the most talented teams of all time. If it wasn't for the JJ beef and the salary cap these nikkas would've won 4 or 5 straight SBs.

The argument wasnt ever that they were more talented then the boys it's that they're werent bumbs. For example in 1995 barry had 2 100 Catch recievers on offense in Perriman(1480 Yards) and Moore(1600 Yards) respectively.

Compare that to lets say MJD when he led the league in Rushing in 2011

If we are comparing Barry and Emmitt then the only thing that is relevant is the talent of their respective teams. I don't recall ever hearing people compare Barry's talent to anyone else's over the years. I don't recall any other back being mentioned in this thread. The line has always been "If Barry had Emmitt's line insert hyperbole here" not "If Barry had anybody else's line....".
