So, if all religions are :duck:, does that make them 'bad' or 'good'?

If so, why?

Why are you asking me if religion is bad or good. I said it’s bullshyt. It doesn’t matter if I think something is evil or not. Harry Potter doesn’t exist in real life, neither does Zeus or Thor. They just don’t . It doesn’t matter how I feel about them.

but I know something that is bad ……

Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ. (Ephesians 6:5 NLT):mjpls:

Christians who are slaves should give their masters full respect so that the name of God and his teaching will not be shamed. If your master is a Christian, that is no excuse for being disrespectful. You should work all the harder because you are helping another believer by your efforts. Teach these truths, Timothy, and encourage everyone to obey them. (1 Timothy 6:1-2 NLT)
:hhh: Have a good night . You don’t make any sense. You have a mental health issue

:yeshrug:

but your Bible doesn’t mention Dinosaurs
and it starts off by saying God created man in his image

so,
How Sway … How Sway …

:yeshrug:

The fact it says God created man in their image should be all a person needs to read/hear to tell the Bible was clearly the words of human beings :unimpressed:

Far as science constantly updating itself, that’s actually a great thing. Crazy shyt is the people (particularly atheists) who believe in science tend to take it as more factual than the actual scientists themselves do.

"god" is a fictional term created by humans, what ever it is, its far more abstract than "god"
Idk...I personally believe ppl are of the breed that wont believe it till they see it...we're talking about civilizations built by a populous that learns by "monkey see monkey do"...and this blacc man didnt descend from a primate.:scust:

You religious folk would be far better off referring to "god" as the universe or consciousness

I still use the word God but that’s what I mean when I say God, the Universe itself, not some magical male spirit in the sky obsessed with humans.

there is a difference between dismissal and entertaining an idea. i entertain some ideas that i dont actually believe as long as they are not totally disproven. scientific minded people can be open minded - that is how new technology keeps coming. if science was closed minded, it would not be the biggest force in technological and medical advancement that it is today.

but either way, some degree of objective evidence is the bridge between people who are not already inclined to agree. without that bridge, you get mental masturbation.

also, there are philosophical people and they have some degree of rigour to what they study and believe as well, because ultimately, meaningful discourse needs bridges between the participants.

People who have psychedelic experiences commonly agree the world is not what most people think it is, all is one, everything is consciousness, and a bunch of other things. Also that there is no way for one person to prove it to another, you have to experience it yourself and psychedelics can get you there.

But most people have been brainwashed into seeing psychedelic experiences as hallucinations and dismiss it as drugs, so they’d dismiss anything that person said without even giving it any thought. There’s nothing open minded bout that. :unimpressed:
