LIke I said when John Collins was a rumored possible pick, my hope is that he makes Whiteside expendable and we get a Myles Turner/Hibbert situation that could lead to trade possibilities.

Fans in general are so shortsighted and lack perspective, you can't expect a star or even a future starter at the mid 1st round. I like @HiphopRelated dont approve on where this organization is heading, however to the team's credit, the FO has done well in acquiring under the radar young talent in recent years(TJ; Whiteside, J Rich). With the following above, maybe the team continues that trend with Bam.

I'm saying that "just a backup center" is hopefully not the ceiling for the kid breh. I already said if he's supposedly showing more in workouts I hope it translates....can't do much better than that. You don't use a lotto pick because Willie Reed might leave.

Looking at the roster, he gives us big man depth that we desperately need.

I'd like Riley to make a decision on where he wants to go with the franchise sooner or later. We can't compete for championships with fukkin waiters and dragic as our best perimeter players. Either rebuild or reload in free agency but don't tread like we did last season.

How fast we got Richardson 3 ball fixed
How fast D-Wait & JJ fixed there games I have no doubt in my mind that he could be starting for us at some point during the season or at least next year. This coaching stuff has shown they can develop players quickly.
Plus with OG Juwan coaching him he should get his mid range game develop fairly quickly look what he did with Gawdside mid range game.
He already has the NBA body dude said he pattern his game after Kevin Garnett shyt if he can be even half of that man we are set. Bam & Winslow sky the limit
