For Hogan to be the hero, he sure did a lotta heel-type sh*t.

You do realize Hogan was a heel first.. He was managed by classy Freddie blassie
Just because he started getting cheers doesn't mean he had to switch his style up
Jake and savage and taker never did also:comeon:

Hogan always kept it real why people learned its not in there best interest to cross him:ufdup:

Was watching random Macho Man clips on YouTube and ran into this :shaq2:

Hogan punches Macho into the ref and knocks him down. Takes advantage of the situation & pins him with Buster Douglas making a fast count that Macho fukking kicks out of :mindblown:

Then he urges Macho Man to fight Buster Douglas, pushes Macho into a sucker punch and starts celebrating :mindblown:

The height of Hogan's egomania backstage basically.

Demanded that this happen or he would no-show Mania. Vince agreed because he was panicking over losing a lot of top stars and WWF's popularity declining at the time. Lets Hogan win the belt, then Hogan decides he won't do any TV, won't put Hart over, and basically won't do shyt that he doesn't feel like doing. Finally Vince decides to say "fukk Hulk", has him lose the title to Yoko at KOTR, and stops dealing with him.

Where you get this info from because I'd love to read up on this. I believe it 100% but to actually read it would be great.

Pretty much what happened but not exactly. Hogan wasn't drawing like that after he won the belt at WM 9 like they thought he would, so Hogan agreed to lose to Yokozuna because he didn't want to lose to Hart because he was small. Hogan thought he'd have a long house show run challenging Yokozuna for the title after KOTR 1993, but after that event, THEN Vince was like "fukk this nikka, I'll make another" and tried to with Luger...and failed miserably

In the 80s, the Hulk Hogan character was kinda a dikk to his friends most of the time. They pushed it as him just being the man, and his friends developing jealousy and turning on him... but to be the top guy, Hogan was a shady-ass, non-dependable, selfish friend, LMAO. Matter fact, the only alles it seems like he didn't fukk over was Mr. T and Beefcake.

thats a load of crap brother…the run ins hogan had done is insurmountable

I don't ever remember Hogan ever fukking over Superfly,JYD,Jake the Snake,Demolition who were among his frequent tag partners

Andre: portrayed as a former friend who was jealous of Hogan's success. But you go undefeated for years and get a trophy, then here comes Hogan to snatch the spotlight, and he gets a bigger trophy for being champ. You challenge him to a match for the title and he flat-out refuses until you push him into doing it. I mean, I get the angle- but it kinda makes Hogan look like someone who was happy keeping Andre at #2. :smh:

Andre's friendship to Hogan met more to him than the belt…he did not want to do it
you're just going to forget that these two men had feuded all over the world

the developed a respect and friendship with one another after the wars they had
when Hogan won the title..Andre was the first to congratulate him

:wow:
When the Heenan family broke Andre's leg, Hogan was the only one who stepped up and had andre's back to get payback:ufdup:

if Andre was undefeated for 10 years…why didn't he step to bob backlund who had it for 5 or the Iron Sheik?:mjpls:
yet he waits until his friend has the belt, and gets bobby heenan, the man who sent his goons to cripple him,be his manager and challenge him:leostare: fukk Andre:pacspit:

Orndorff: portrayed as a former friend who was jealous of Hogan's success and tired of being in Hogan's shadow. But when Hogan was in trouble, Orndorff was right there to help him. When Orndorff was in trouble, he couldn't even get him on the phone at the gym because he was busy working out. :scusthov:

Mr Wonderful is an easily manipulated tool, the guy never had any smarts..
you're just going to omit the fact that Roddy Piper and Cowboy Bob put the beats on him for losing Wrestlemania
and Hogan and extended his friendship to him, when the whole locker room wanted nothing to do with him..Hogan helped him

than that Judas does this

and joins bobby heenan…and after he loses to the GOD multiple times..what does do?
He begs for forgiveness, turns face again and wants to be Hogan's buddy again:comeon:

Savage: portrayed as former friend jealous of Hogan's relationship with his woman. Hogan's character acted thirsty as shyt about Elizabeth, eliminated Macho from the Rumble for no apparent reason when they were going in as "a unit", carried Elizabeth to the back while Savage got his ass beat by two 400-pound muhfukkas... meanwhile Savage is taking all of this in stride before finally losing his shyt and knockin' Hogan out. Why are we supposed to boo Savage?

so your just going to forget that Hogan saved Savages ass numerous times:leostare:

the rumble was every man for himself…there are no partners…you saw what demolition did to each other and they were the tag champs:youngsabo:
Macho was paranoid…so Hogan had to put him in check:leostare:

and Sid: former friend jealous of Hogan just because. This one was almost too blatant for words. Hogan gets eliminated from the Rumble by Sid, acts like a sore loser, pulls Sid out of the ring which helps Ric Flair win... and he's the good guy?

Sid and Hogan were never friends

Sid was popping off his mouth at being the Superior Man…so Hogan pulled his card:obama:
and all that bs sid was talking about justice being served, and got exposed right after

Anybody else does this shyt, he's the heel. If this was Ric Flair in NWA, backstabbing the other Horsemen and never being there for them, it woulda been the perfect villain. Hogan shyts on his friends and he's a hero!

It's funny tho', because if the Hogan character was truly kept consistent, the NWO turn makes it even better. It's like saying Hogan was always scandalous anyway and his true colors finally came out. Heenan used to say on commentary all the time "I was right about him all along!" :ooh:
and look what talking shyt about Hogan has gotten Heenan today:smugbiden:

No wonder Vince was like "fukk Lex Luger:stopitslime:" on that episode of Raw when he bought WCW, on another note you know Vince was like :leon::ooh::ohhh:when an up and coming Stone Cold was getting dem main event-like pops as a mid carder and decided to run with it and the rest is history:blessed:

Rewatched that Rumble yesterday, no idea how they tried to justify Hogan doing that and staying face :russ:

Hogan really screwed the rules of the match most of the times in WCW against Ric Flair

the yappapi match [bull rope match] touch all 4 corners its ALWAYS been this way, Hogan touched 3 corners, said fukk it and leg dropped Flair and the ref counted the 3 count and rang the bell. Then to add injury to insult Hogan touched the 4th corner smh
