There's no template breh.

Don't let people tell you there's a certain way to raise your kid. What works for them and their kids may not work for you and your kid.

Bond with your kid. Find out what works as far as communication and discipline. Building a relationship with your offspring is the best part of life:wow:

Discipline early ( don't wait until he's 10 )

make him feel like he can talk to you about anything-remind him of it a lot.

Give him a skill while he's still young, for example I'm teaching my son how to program computers and I show him how important math is for video games ( gave a presentation at his school about it )

Don't listen to rap music around him.

This post is on point.

Yup. Most famous programmers started at a very early age. Make it fun for them and they will most likely continue it forever.

When I gave the presentation at my sons school about math and video games, you should of seen their faces, you could see the lightbulbs go off.
Next up I'm going to show my son robotic programming with the arduino kits.

Yeah, because your kid is going to hear rap and suddenly decide to disobey everything you require

It doesn't work like that

Lol. I didn't say that, but there is no need for my son to hear "Nikka/bytch" 100 times in a song. While we are in the car, I don't play it around my parents so why would I do it around my son? I know little bad ass kids who can recite rap lyrics, but failing in school, which is the fault of the parents and those same parents play 3-6 in front of their kids.

Also he's my son, please don't tell me what works and what doesn't with him... Lol

Give me some advice. Haha My little dude is on the way any day. I'm not totally lost but there's always little tactics and secrets to pick up from fellow dads.
You can mold him to be a great person. That's your job.
Protect him when he's young. A baby or toddler cannot box or jiu-jitsu defend against a child abuser. Day-care and babysitters are out there but I don't trust them. That's me though. You might need them, get the 411 on them before you hire them. When I see a news report on TV about a daycare worker who shook or hit a baby, it does cross my mind that that person should get throat punched. I'm not talking about a light jab, I'm talking full-on Mike Tyson right hook.
As he gets older, be involved in his life. Sports, art, math, English, music, relationships, school events. You don't have to hover over him 24/7 but you need to know what's going on. Even if you aren't good at those things, be there and/or offer encouragement.

Try to be happy around your kid. It'll be hard sometimes but kids are amazing mood rings, especially babies.

Contrary to popular belief, you can't spoil a baby. Picking him up when they cry is always a better alternative to letting them cry it out. They don't understand that you trying to teach them a lesson and can't comprehend more than base needs. Don't worry about spoiling kids until the 2s and 3s.

Try not to sleep with your newborn in the bed with you. Ask an EMT or a nurse about how common it is for parents to roll over on their newborns.

Have fun. Having a kid is awesome, breh. About 6-7 months in when personalities start to develop is an awesome time.

Anything you worried about in particularly?

You're wrong. Babies are born with personalities. They have them in the womb too.

& there is a such thing as spoiling your baby. I spoiled my cousin. When he got sleepy, he would only stop crying & go to sleep when someone would pick him up & rock him to sleep because I used to rock him to sleep whenever I baby sat him (which was like every weekend, then almost everyday during the summer).

Babies are kind of boring until they learn how to crawl.

Cheat on her, destroy your family and be put on child support? Not a good idea.
