Agree..but black people always have a excuse or are afraid of something

I was trying to tell fellow black coworkers about how easy is it to have a simple acorns account where your pocket change can grow but 90% of them was like no way im putting my money in a bank and i was explaining how with this acorns app your return is way better than a bank..

But as usual black people have the excuse of i don't trust it..
I have an acorn account. Mutual funds. Plus you can cash out whenever. All for a $1/month until you put $5k in there.

The black community is behind because there is no generational wealth.

To me it doesn't matter how much you make its what you do with your money set up a budget.

Exactly...my parents have their house and life insurance set up for me if they passed away..

But still at the same time I don't go out trying to live lavish...

If something happens to me my niece gets my life insurance..

He didn't want to *actually* know what or how to do it, he just wanted an opportunity to rant. :mjlol:

The I in Team
Take it from somebody who rides the highs and lows like a rollercoaster. Ride that high to opportunity. When my high comes I ride it with laser focus. Just so happened it occurred with a good opportunity careerwise. I recognized it and used my talents to benefit from it all. Thing is I realize in hindsight it's not making it that creates the happiness it's process you took to get there...

I think that's why successful people don't just say "I'm successful" and give up. They keep grinding. Same reason why a big time dealer always goes down even tho they had enough to quit 10 times over. You get addicted to the hustle, the flip, the process. Problem with you breh is you searching for the finish line instead of the race..
