For such a choker, Lebron has more memorable Finals and Playoff Games than Kobe

I am truly perplexed. Dude was cold-blooded in Cleveland. He never looked shook or unsure of himself like he did late in this game and some others. I always said that the questions about his mental toughness and clutch were based on him not having any hardware while he was there. He did everything in his power to win a title there. He regularly delivered with the game on the line. However since he's joined MIA there has been startling change. The overly passive games, the dear in the headlights in the 4th, being afraid to take shots or missing them badly. This is not the same guy from Cleveland. :mindblown: It's ironic to me that he has teammates stepping up and making the big play now.

Sometimes it seems like he thrives more being surrounded by role players and spot up shooters than when he has to share the wealth with Wade and Bosh.

Shaq would beast for most of the game but got relegated to the bench in the 4th due to the Hack-A-Shaq and his inability to make FTs while Kobe closed the deal.

Shaq was not on the bench late in games when he was in his prime. Kobe would have the ball in his hands a lot down the stretch, but that's false about Shaq being on the bench in the 4th quarter. Only if he was in foul trouble was he on the bench late in close games. You must be thinking of Shaq when he was on Miami or Phoenix.

It should be noted in this thread that

Lebron James SHUT DOWN Tony Parker late in this game and was a huge difference in the outcome.

Tony is referred to by many as the BEST OFFENSIVE PG in the league. So for those that knit-pick at Bron's every move, clap for him :youngsabo:

I knew there would be at least one. :smugbiden: Did you actually read my post or did you just spot something that you could jump on with the youtube videos you had queued up and ready to go and totally miss the actual point? :usure:

What did I "jump on". I was under the impression that my post was in agreement and/or confirming your point :wtf:

In your post you said we cannot act like this is the first time a player was bailed out before... I agreed with you by posting those videos :dead:

His D on Parker was huge. Even when Parker hit the ridiculous 3 he was doing exactly what the Heat wanted which was shooting a fading 26 footer and not penetrating and wreaking havoc inside.

Exactly, like the saying goes, sometimes great offense just beats really good defense. He played that perfect and Parker just hit a really tough shot. Heat would take that kind of defensive possession everytime.

Funny paradox when those called Lebron not clutch.......when he's very much near the top of any most clutch ever lists. Not least.

That's such a major part that nobody talks about

Think about how much of a roll Parker was on coming into that series

Dudes were claiming he deserves MVP he dropped 43 on the best defense in the NBA in Memphis

And lebron completely shut him down

Truly not worthy of his greatness
