I'm 39 years old.

Concerts, I still love. I just saw NaS at the Wynn in Vegas with an orchestra and it was incredible.

Music Festivals are an emphatic NO for me. I'm never going to one again unless I'm backstage or VIP.

I like going to concerts where I'm comfortable, I have a seat, there's drinks, I'm not in the sun all day and I can see the artist I want to see and go home.

I can't do music festivals where I have to be in the sun all day, stand long food/bathroom lines and wait hours for the artists I actually want to see. The appeal of a music festival is to be there all day, party, get drunk/high and see dozens of artist for very little money. It's just run it's course for me because the whole thing wears me out if I stay longer than a couple of hours.

Y'all ever do that Vegas thing, burning man?

This is how Im feeling dam near verbatim.. Also concert the smaller the venue the better to me.. I just saw Chris Brown in stadium after seeing him in arena years ago, and give me arena all day.. Luckily he did it in the marlins stadium and not dolphins so it has a roof and some AC. But its making me question if I want to see Weeknd next week at hard rock stadium in August south florida heat.. Thats not enjoyable to me.. And weeknd is one of my favorite artist.. dammit man

Yep. Just caught Nelly, Eve and Ja Rule last Thursday with the big bro and his wife. The Offspirng the week before. Metric a few weeks earlier with the wife. Was supposed to be a Bloc Party show but they had beef with Metric. And Cypress Hill back in May. Got a Black Keys show end of the month. Might hit a boat cruise with Scratch b*stard and Dj Dopey, then got a Deftones/System of a Down show early Sept.

Yea but i'm real seletctive about which concerts i do
I did bluenote jazz fest in LA recently but that's chill, it's assigned seats, pretty much 35 yr old and over and you can bring your own drinks, food and drugs
I'm going to see the clipse in VA Beach in a couple days. I'm kind of iffy about that one since it's been so long since i been to a rap concert and i'm not really familiar with nikkas from that part of VA :mjpls:

Yeah. Nothing like live music. I saw Esperanza Spalding last year, went to Carnegie hall to see a Black orchestra; it’s been a while, but I like going to the blue note for jazz/funk. I prefer smaller venues. I haven’t been to a concert in a stadium in years.

I'm old af too. I have mastered the art of concert going by now though and it's still my favorite activity. Don't ever go at "doors open"....I be poppin up with just enough time to spare to get a drink and look around before the artist I came to see comes out.
Festivals...I don't really even show up til late afternoon or when I know my artist is coming on (if I am by myself). If I am with others I usually enjoy their company regardless
