For the ADOS who are for Reparations.....

why don't we compile a list of government officials and politicians that also support Reparations to make an effort to get these candidates ahead of the field for a 2024 run at the Presidency.

I will start the list with someone who was a 2020 Democratic Presidential Candidate Julian Castro who earlier THIS summer let it be known on Hot97 that he IS for Reparations for black Americans (descendants of slaves) and black Americans only:



He may not be a black man himself but if he is going to give black Americans Reparations does it matter what race he is?

I'm sure there are others out there who support Reparations for black Americans and I would love to see ya'll contribute to this list so we can try to get an early start for 2024 to finally get what we are owed.

Another 2020 Democratic Presidential Candidate who supports Reparations is Marianne Williamson. She's a bit on the older side and not really a politician but again if Reparations which she feels are owed to us are to be payed then her age can be overlooked.

I am obviously for Reparations but still take part in elections where the candidates are not pushing Reparations in their campaign. But I saw so many people yesterday in the Biden choosing Harris as VP thread talking about they will only vote for someone who is giving tangibles to black americans (descendants of slaves) Reparations.

So I just wanted to compile the list of possible candidates who support that so we can try to come together on something and get the ball rolling for 2024.

I also suspected that some of those people talking all that noise about I'm not voting unless they are giving reparations may be pushing an agenda and I created this thread to collect infomation on many fronts.

So far my suspicions are unfortunately looking to be on point . Because if you not coming to the forefront for people who support Reparations or don't even know who does support it then what are you talking about no Reparations no vote for?

If democrats offered more than just racial brownie points I think they could get more passed. Democrats don't offer more because they don't have to, republicans are so racist that all that needs to be done is to side with minorities rhetorically. No action needed, if they were for giving people actual material benefits and not just crumbs they might be the most unstoppable party.

Sheila Jackson Lee has introduced an Act to study and develop Reparations proposal called H.R.40 but of course it hasn't passed through the ringer. But Williamson and Castro actually support Reparations right now.

If it happens it won't happen for years. They first have to bring up the bill. Then get it approved. Then vote for it. Then let the senate and house decide. Then figure out where to take the money from. Then figure out who's getting anything by checking ancestry... and so on. These people probably won't be in any office by the time it happens if ever.
