I personally didn't bet the side. I lost on personal prop bets mostly due to luke Willsons no show, but the house cleaned up on props which are like a third or more of the handle anymore. Late money all weekend on Seattle offset most of the game risk. I'd imagine most books lost to the side, and win big to props
so they didn't hurt despite the people who all bet on the OVER on marshawn's rushing yards?
Dunno about any other books, but the props shook out fantastic. Also nfl futures grade out tonight and with both teams being chalk all year id figure they shook out favorably. We lost the game itself with pats/over, but not enough to wash the day totally out

and bought back out of it pregame. It's those 50/50 games like that I'm trying to avoid to be honest in the future.
I'm still a little pissed at the under 24 first half bet.....but the bet I made on the length of the National anthem more than made up for that.

nothing wrong with under 24. it closed 23 most places just a shyt beat with 24 second quarter points. i had under 24½ myself. almost played over 23½+120 at post time, and have a risk free middle. id have even been more bitter about losing that potential middle with the late td instead of fg than i was just losing the under. he made the right call to take a shot at the end zone with 6 second left. the only 2 coaches who probably try for the td there were coaching this game, anyone else plays it safe and takes the 3 before the half when they are getting the ball second half
as another poster pointed out, Joe Philbin would've punted.
