Idk how it will do with the NFL. A large part of the logic behind it is that the layoff time between a teams last game and bowl game is so long the teams are rusty and therefore are not going to be as smooth offensively. There's isn't any layoff time between the last game of the reg season and the playoffs, unless its a first round bye team.
