For the first time in NBA history, we will have a different champ for the 7th consecutive time.

2024 Celtics/Mavs sucked;

2023 Nuggets/Heat sucked;

2022 Warriors/Celtics was better than '21 but only barely so;

2021 Bucks/Suns fukking sucked;

2020 was dope, Lakers/Heat. Heat made it interesting;

so you're right. 2020s Finals have been terrible. Compared to the 10s:

2019 Raps/Dubs was really entertaining even with Warriors down two guys;

2018 Dubs/Cavs was wack;

2017 Dubs/Cavs was a little better than '18 but mostly wack;

2016 Cavs/Dubs is in the running for the greatest Finals of all time;

2015 Dubs/Cavs was good and entertaining;

2014 Spurs/Heat was terrible;

2013 Heat/Spurs was fukking fire, one of the great Finals ever;

2012 Heat/Thunder wasn't as bad as these 2020s Finals, but was definitely mid;

2011 Mavs/Heat was entertaining;

2010 Lakers/Celtics is one of the greatest Finals of all time...

The 10s had three of the GOAT Finals ('10, '13, '16), and several more highly entertaining ones. Its shytting all over the 20s at this point...

But the 00s:

2009 Lakers/Mavs was mid;

2008 Celtics/Lakers was a step above mid but nit much else;

2007 Spurs/Cavs was awful;

2006 Heat/Mavs was terrible;

2005 Spurs/Pistons was wack;

2004 Pistons/Lakers at least has the entertainment factor;

2003 Spurs/Nets, sucked;

2002 Lakers/Nets, even worse;

2001 Lakers/Sixers wasnt great but was entertaining;

2000 Lakers/Pacers was mid...

00s Finals werent much better than the 2020s lmao...

Now I do enjoy the parity of multiple teams having multiple conference finals runs. The Celtics have played in 4 ECF this decade;

The Heat have played in 3;

The Nuggets, Lakers, Mavs, Pacers, and Wolves have all played in 2 conference finals in this decade.....I enjoy this kinda parity.
Jury still out on the wolves this year but the problem with parity in the NBA will always be that a 7 game series will expose that shyt eventually.

Nuggets, Mavs, Lakers and Pacers all had a conference finals where it was clear they were the lesser team and had a lot of shyt to go right for them to get there.

This us true but it was also true of the '20 Celtics; '21 Hawks; and '24 Wolves...

Personally, once a team starts making multiple conference finals, they validate themselves as more than a "luck" team. Minnesota and Indiana are in The Final Four for the second straight year, they've legitimized themselves...

I feel you. think this era of the nba is going to be weird for fans to evaluate. I’m hard head old head status at this point. Seeing Denver last year blow A 20 point lead in game 7 and Boston lose the series this year in the first two games at home looking shook just makes the rings look whatever to me:hubie:

One thing for sure, if those rings end up being the only rings those teams win, you're right that these "one off" rings won't be valued or remembered as well. People remember one-off rings that were upsets and/or came in incredible fashion ('19 Raptors, '16 Cavs, '11 Mavs, '04 Pistons). One off rings as a favorite, in a series that wasn't that great, those rings just aren't that memorable!

Lets review:
Bucks- Middleton being out but that 3pt shyt got em in a series that they were up 3-2 and double digits at home in game 6
This is a LIE! The Celtics outshot the Bucks 110 to 57 from 3 in that series. The biggest discrepancy in NBA history

How? Games 4,5, & 6 all went down to the wire with three different players going for 40+ in multiple games, two iconic clutch-time moments (Giannis Block and Jrue steal+alleyoop) that will get replayed forever, and it was capped off by one of the greatest Finals performances of all time with 50pt/10reb/5blk from Giannis. From an objective, competitive standpoint this was a pretty damn good series. But I guess if it doesn’t go 7 or doesn’t include LeBron it automatically sucks to you:mjlol:

You bytching for no reason...

The 2019 Finals is one I said was a really good Finals and it neither went 7 nor featured LeBron...

That Bucks/Suns series lacked juice to me, I knew the Suns were flash in the pan Paper Tigers and I didn't find them interesting. The Bucks were cool to watch but they had moments they could've been eliminated in each prior round; those games were mildly entertaining. I was right that the Bucks were one hit wonders too...

Hop off, nikka...

Oh wow so one series in the last 25 years lol Talking about Flash in the pan and one hit wonders when those Raptors never came close to winning a chip before or after that season lol And the only reason that series wasn’t a gentleman’s sweep at best was because KD and Klay both got hurt. You only rate that series because it stopped Curry from passing Bron in rings be real. You need narratives and idol worship to enjoy basketball dikkriding fakkit

Agreed to say the Warriors-Celtics was better is a stretch sure it went 6 games, but every game was a blow out. No real classic moments except Steph going off in game 4(?)

On the other hand, Bucks-Suns I would say was one of the better finals we've seen. 3 classic close games back to back to back. With classic iconic moments.

It really was, nikkas tripping what moments have we gotten in the last few years in the Finals that top these?

These are legit classic NBA Finals moments, I feel like if Giannis was American these shyts would be played nonstop every Finals.

The last 2 Finals were lopsided victories with the Celtics last year and Denver the year before, this ain't really a debate as far as best Finals in the 2020's
