I got a pocket one for the low one day at costco. That i can keep in my pocket that has a number of tb's on it.
So reinvest and then back it up as well.

Most underrated post in hereNah,people are done with streaming like that. Its one of those "If i catch it I catch it" type of things now. Its all coming down to the cellphone/ipads. That is basically the new streaming. Too much content available there to even have time for movies and tv.
What these streaming discussions never account for is YouTube and twitch
There are people whose majority consumption is YouTube. Without even doing the math i know I'm on YouTube way more than any streaming service

The binge watch model has been proven ineffective
People love to binge watch, but you can't make that a default model in lieu of quality.
If you had to watch a lot of them Netflix shows weekly they would NOT stand up. Especially during their era where everything was 12-13 episodes
And yea the Marvel shows opened my eyes to why binge model was so bad. As a collective these shows are best experienced when they're spread out
Discussing and dissecting an episode a week at a time is healthier for the lifespan of the show. Discussions on binged shows are trash and scattered because nobodies on the same page
Hell the Film Room has great examples. Threads for weekly shows are fleshed out with good discussions. (Them Game Of Thrones days

Shows(QUALITY shows) are best experienced with the collective having the same info at the same time. Binging is great for catching up or rewatching, but as a default???

That doesnt even account for twitter,facebook,reddit and other forums like this one that integrate media. Its just alot of jumping around. Its only a few things that I watch on the daily on streaming through Sling. Other than than that i just check back periodically on the movie services. Once every few weeks to a month and see if anything interesting is added. Or if I think of something old I want to see. Like The Batman made me want to watch the Nolan films recently,so i pulled up HBO max. They should really be ahead of everyone but they arent.
Matter of fact I really only got sling for Snowfall so I guess I can cancel that and save 30$ til next season

Netflix turned into the least streamed channel at my home. HboMax and Hulu are all i watch. Only keep netflix cause its free thru tmoblie.
