just finished my masters

My parents are cool, they don't police things like I'm a kid. Plus my pops has been overseas a lot last few. My mom is about to start travelling with him more. My 95 year old grandma was living with us till last year when she passed and that was a huge workload for everyone taking care of her which was another job in itself.

I'll get my own spot when I get hitched (get married brehs  ) or in a couple years after the next financial crisis :ehh:
You must live in a big house. I could never do that. My room was right next to my parent's room. I'd kill myself. There's no way to bring anyone home.

How the fukk can a 3 person household live off $42,000 annually? Maybe because I'm a one person household that they tax the shyt outta me cause I lose 21% of my income annually. and I maybe get $600 or so back on my tax return. I make a bit more than that $4s,000 but I couldn't see a family of 3 making it if that.

That's almost 4K a month..... That's plenty for a 3 person household.. Then again Im poor, what do I know

Everyone on Earth starts out poor. Only a few driven and savvy individuals can create families or networks to accumulate maintain and pass down wealth as most Most Americans are entitled dumb about finances and make shyt decisions and live for the moment. Need to take note of Asian and Jewish fans during this recession. Our great grandparents had less and survived.

Trade schools are expensive too. Moreover, that's not a good long term plan because with automation you will not have as many options. The reasons companies pay so little wages is because of lack of union density like he said. It's currently at around 10%.
I agree now more then ever we need unions to protect the Average amercian.

Take Fedex for example. My father worked there for 30 years. In the late 70s early 80s people would kill for that job. You had free healthcare. It was a counter to UPS (who has a union by the way). To try and steal some market share from UPS they started doin little shyt to try and compete. Better tracking of your packages, air conditioned trucks (depending on where you live though) No mandatory double shifts. At UPS each driver does deliveries as well as pickups. It's hard work but they get paid way more then Fedex couriers. Meanwhile Fedex has become one of the worst companies to work for in America. They have made an absolute killing from Amazon and are making more money then ever but greed has set in.They have no union therefore they fukk the couriers every chance they can get and there are no repercussions. No more free healthcare benefits, no more bonuses, it takes 10 -20 years to top out as a courier while UPS drivers can tap out within like 5 years at like $40 per hr depending on where you live.. All Fedex does is take, take and take while making more money then ever before. I feel sorry for the people that work there. My only hope is if Amazon can keep buyin planes to start there only shipping business and tell Fedex and UPS to fukk off.

That will make Fedex change cause right now they have no incentive to and they will keep fukkin the couriers over because they can.

My family was lower middle class.

Now I am upper middle class by that definition.

I want to make at least 600k a year before I am 50. I feel like I am making the right moves for that to happen, but I can only hope.

There is no "hoping" with social mobility breh

No. But I have worked to get young black men and women entry level positions.

I have also organized minority outreach events.

I feel like I do my part to help black people and all people.

But who reached out to help and mentor me in my career? A White redneck from memphis, an East coast Jew, a Chinese lady and a Indian women. Not once in my life have so-called black people reached out to me, invited me to their events, attempted to mentor me, or even given me constructive criticism. When I was a young man and lost, it was a Vietnamese women and a Jewish lady that tried to help me, and I made the right decisions because of them. I had black and other races of teachers, but only they cared.

So please, don't give me any crap about black people. I do my part, and I get nothing in return.

The post-WW2 era economically was a fluke.
This isn't disconcerting unless you honestly though the US was this hyper-stable middle-class haven because it's "great" and not because 80% of the world was in shambles.
