He’s the reason the trial has been pushed back for the last couple of years.

That's not how the law works but ok. At the end of the day, a jury is gonna decide if they believe Meg's story or they're gonna believe Tory's story based on all the evidence and testimonies

Typically, a good lawyer will delay a case for as long as they can to not only gather information but to let the publicity die down. See: Troy Ave. The more it’s forgotten about and pushed back, the higher the chance to get a favorable deal, something popping up to get the case thrown out, etc.

However, when you’re client is an idiot who uses DJ Akademiks as his PR firm, that strategy is null and void. He might be toast now.
