I think the boycott serves no real purpose and there are too many people doing it for attention whore-ish reasons.
I don't pay for cable, so I doubt I could affect their ratings even if I wanted to.
I'm not a follower, so i don't feel any guilt for not following behind what other's have decided is best here.
It's crazy because the boycott comes down to Kaepernick's situation, but he has repeatedly said he'd still play in the NFL. Maybe it's just him positioning for his case, but those are his words.

The boycott has been co-opted so it doesn't matter if you watch or not but let's be honest: most of the dudes itt lack principles and self-control. You can't really count on these type of people to do anything constructive that requires sacrifice.
