What do you mean, OP?
Are you speaking from the perspective that pleasure in the physical life should be the main objective?
I've always assumed Earth being a prison planet as being a part of human's evolution - of the spirit, I mean. All real growth comes with some level of resistance and coming out of your comfort zone (think the expression "growing pains").
Think of the last time you really learned a lesson thru experience. Was the experience an overall positive one or was there something in it that pushed you past your comfort threshold?
As someone who believes in "this" kind of stuff, I'm apt to think those who incarnate on Earth are seeking growth thru difficult experiences/lots of resistance. You know, like going thru the fire, per se. Once you put into perspective your body is just a physical vehicle for the spirit to come here, do work and grow, it helps you look at living differently.
Now, if the spirit is still trapped here, even after physical death, the "prison planet" moniker then becomes scary as shyt, at least to me.
I certainly hope this is not the case, but it's not like one can ever know.
