This is all I’m saying. If you were gonna buy the $13 meal anyway, why not use a coupon of some sort? That $7 saved times doing that shyt at least once a week and you’re looking at $360 saved a year. Compound that with other purchases by doing the same thing and it becomes “real money”
I remember I used to eat good off those Papa John's coupons that we used to post on here in the early 2010s.

My cousin seen me leave with 2 large pies with toppings for 12 dollars and drinks. She called me cheap.
:manny: me and the fam ate good that year.

If you need coupons for fast food your ass is broke af. But you got a good point on social media tho
Nah. Fast food is expensive af these days.

There was a time when people would shyt on Five Guys for being so expensive compared to Mickey D's/Burger King/Wendy's but, without apps, the prices are closer than they've ever been.

Groceries are expensive af too. Apps definitely are helping me out in the budgeting department.

Yes, let's give my information to as much companies as possible to save a few dollars so they can sell it then have random people/companies calling/texting/emailing me all day and risk my information getting leaked in a data breach. Not to mention these people use the same passwords for all their accounts so now you got people filing your taxes for you and opening credit cards in your name fukking up your credit.

I get where you're coming from breh, but to me the tradeoff and hassle isn't worth the risk.

That being said, I just can't deal with all the different apps and logins, and that's WITH a password manager.

Aye! Exactly around that time is when me and my best friend discovered them online Dominos codes. Since promo codes had just became a thing, none of them places knew what they were doing and I assume they weren’t losing too much because most people wasn’t up on it like that. Well, maybe a year or so in, Dominos stooped that shyt lol

I bet you’re on major social media, though…wait, you’re on The Coli, which is connected to a server, which is harboring data in a database, which is connected to your hardware id/device id, and ip address. I wonder what the owners of the site could do with this data besides get everything from your demographics to your personal info :jbhmm:

Edit: Please don’t tell me you’re on TikTok. Or do you use DuckDuckGo who was caught selling their data to Microsoft, even though they “never collect data”?

Everybody complains about groceries…ok, fine, I get it. I’ll create a new Publix account, sign up for the rewards, and do a new account with a new order every day for $5 off of $20, which takes 2 minutes of my time. If Publix does this then I know Kroger, Food Lion, Winn Dixie, etc has to be doing the same thing.

I didn’t know publix was doing this, and if so, it’s definitely not every day. Now Greenwise has offers like that about 3 to 4 times a month. Fresh Market and Sprout have digital deals so I see your overall point

It’s sign up for a new Publix reward account and get $5 off $20. It’s every day if you make it every day…they even have the lil cards at the registers to try to get people to sign up

Respect the good & understand the bad
Not a bad thread actually. My tip would be that with the Popeye’s app they always have good coupons for meals, but you can only apply one per order. It can get costly very fast when ordering for multiple people after that. I had my wife and daughter add the app to their phones and they place their own orders using the one-time coupons available to them. When i pull up to the drive through window, i just give them all three of our names and pick up all our orders lol

Everybody complains about the price of gas but nobody wants to take maybe 5 minutes to do Upside and save $2/gallon on gas (they killed this somewhat but I went damn near a year not paying over $2/gallon.

Kroger Card, brother.

Legit got 50 cents off per gallon, love.
