I can see damn near your life story just by you coming to my website. And what I can’t see immediately, I can easily see with an extra step or 2… This is how websites build personas based on their users likes/intents. How do you think algorithms work?

There are far more protections browsing the web than downloading an app, and you know this. I can block ads, use a vpn, privacy browser, etc. At best a website learns about a particular browsing session of mine, but may not be able to tie together multiple browser sessions as the same user. Have you ever heard of DuckDuckGo? Do you understand that they were selling their data to Microsoft? And that was the “protection”, as far as browser based. Do you know about CCleaner, that everybody was using for decades that was supposed to keep things clean and private but was selling data to Russia? I’ll keep going

Yeah, but sometimes I just get an itch for their signature blend of seasoning and sides. Plus, an air frier doesn't actually fry it and I hate dealing with the oil when it's breakdancing in the pan, especially since I like to cook shirtless , along with the disposal afterwards. With the coupons, I can feed all three of us for under $25 and it's hot and ready, which is still a great price to feed three people.

Cant lie,I miss the taste of grease that the air fryer cant replicate. But its a good enough substitute for me.

I get everything you are saying. I just don't agree. While Microsoft and Google hold all my secrets, that doesn't mean Facebook, TikTok, BK, or Starbuck have to as well. Sites you log on to frequently can get tons of data from you, but random sites don't. In a day with privacy browsers, and VPN companies making up the vast majority of YouTube ads, you absolutely can mitigate the data you transmit or allow to be taken. The data is only useful if they can attach it to a person, and randomly visited sites can't do that if you use a VPN, block cookies/trackers, and clear your browser each session. Not everyone is on social media, breh.
