That's a dumb argument. Just because I give my in-laws keys to my house, doesn't mean I should just give keys to everyone. There are far more protections browsing the web than downloading an app, and you know this. I can block ads, use a vpn, privacy browser, etc. At best a website learns about a particular browsing session of mine, but may not be able to tie together multiple browser sessions as the same user. But you know this.And those coupons are not the same as on the apps (compare, if you don’t believe me). But again, what apps are you using or websites, because they’re all tracking your data? The best thing Apple did was doing that Ask App Not To Track for every app, but even that means nothing
YOURE ON THE COLI. YOUR DATA IS TRACKED WITH EVERY CLICK. Have you ever built a website and done SEO and research on your traffic? I can see damn near your life story just by you coming to my website. And what I can’t see immediately, I can easily see with an extra step or 2… This is how websites build personas based on their users likes/intents. How do you think algorithms work?
