Dru Down- Can You Feel Me? 1996 is arguably the greatest year in Hip Hop history. Dru Down takes us on a mackadocious ride through East Oakland. Yukmouth and the Luniz show us street nikkas from East Oaktown can be lyrical on “The Mob”. “Freaks Come Out” and “Breezy” are certified Bay Area playa shyt and both songs feature the Luniz. Yukmouth is like Ghostface on Cuban Linx on this album. Dru Down takes shots at Too $hort on “Mista Busta”. The title track is timeless heavily street orientated message over a classic Fat Boys beat. Dru sounds like every last bit of Bootsie Collins illegitimate son he claims to be on this album.
