Tommy fell off because his wind up from the stretch was slow. Once he changed his mechanics he got injured and the white girl finished him off. RIP Tommy Hanson

I don't think it was just cocaine...Doc Gooden did all sorts of Blow in the 80's and he's still here.
When I see words like "catastrophic organ failure", it lets me know his body shut down.
Maybe all that partying caught up to him.
I'm only speculating since Hanson was just 29, but damn RIP to the man.
This is sad.

As a Mets fan I thought wow..I'm not looking forward to facing this guy the next ten years in nl east..

Then he declined and the braves traded him (and you know the braves never get rid of pitchers who are valuable) I remember feeling it was strange his decline

Really sorry to hear this rip

He probably was a coke head. But that shyt said catastrophic organ failure. That sounds like a heroin overdose.

Exactly how I felt man. Dude had a nice curveball and seemed like he was gonna be legit. I added him to the Mets on The Show after he got traded and had fallen off a lil cuz I still thought he was nasty. (I used to trade Duda every year but we don't need to talk about that now) smh at the show always fukking up with the Mets too but that's for another thread.
