Vettel has been comedy this year. I thought it was just hate for him, but dude is really a damn brat. Got passed by a Caterham :mjlol: and lost it.

But you knew Mercedes would beast as soon as they got consistent. More surprised that Vettel has been so far off the pace while Ricardo has been competitive. Vettel was great when he was at Toro Rosso. Guess he just got spoiled.

I don't follow F1 at all, so I have no clue about how it works. But reading this thread has me interested. What is it about the cars that set one apart from the other? I know drivers have something to do with it. Are there restrictions, or like regulations as far as what you can do to the engine, suspension , etc. Do certain tracks give different advantages depending on the car? Again I'm clueless so I appreciate the info.

and is Lewis like the LeBron of F1. Dude seems like a beast the way you guys talk about him.

1. yes, there are strict regulations (that change consistently) on the cars that have to be approved by f1. things like ride height, aerodynamics, etc

2. certain cars & drivers are better at certain tracks. some cars are better at handling and have an advantage at tracks with a lot of tight turns. some cars have good peak power and have an advantage at tracks with long straights and long sweeping turns.

3. lewis is kinda like lebron when he was on the cavs. super talented driver put on some not-so-good teams/cars and made them better than they actually were. now he is in a great car and is dominating (same as lebron going to the heat)

I put Alonso and Lewis in that top tier. They seem to get podiums and good finishes when you think their team is mediocre and seem to make their teams better. Shame that Ferrari has been trash with such good drivers.

The amount of ass at Formula 1 races
:blessed:

No sporting event compares on an event by event basis

I loosely follow Formula 1
What Americans don't understand is how big it is internationally
When f1 comes to town all the females come out
Its the spot to be for international ass and hotness

F1 also has the best website out of all major sporting sites

I've only been to the series in Indy when it was here but I have connects that will co-sign how wild these events are
I'm either going to Brazil to watch a world cup match or to the F1 race in November

But next year
My dream is Monaco

yoooooo @ 0:20 :wow:

Rosberg was lucky that he stopped Lewis from outqualifying him yesterday, by parking his car and ending the session before Lewis could finish his faster lap- that would have given him the pole. Monaco is too damn hard to pass on so it turns into follow the leader.
