Which proves my point more than yours

Lebron and co would not be part of the hypothetical bidding war, and said bidding war would be a fight for who will take the NBA's place in re-establishing the padagrims you're complaining about right now.

See what I mean by short sighted?

Not sure what this is supposed to prove...but without the platform provided by the nba the caliber of sponsorships would not be the same. Lol @ the idea of the chinese seeing this without broadcast deals being made. I guess chinese investors would open their wallets up after watching games through someone's instagram stories.

The NBA signed a billion dollar deal with nike. Lol @ a random sponsorship from china replacing that

this only comes about because an orginizaton already establishes itself as the pro league or the highest level. You already used the best example with arena football. Lebron and co are only considered the highest level due to the competition curated from the NBA in the first place. after all do you know the best player in the chinese league's name? Do you pay attention to the best euro basketball players? Or the best NBA players

Organization's rep > individual athlete.

Yall talk like there wasnt a day when black people weren't in these leagues at all. The negro league had amazing talent but the money and platform was at the MLB in spite of the racism.

What did the atheltes choose?

Which league survived?

The negro league existed in a time where there was no social media and no online videos. If it existed today then, like I said before, there would be a league with demonstrably better talent. The YouTube highlights alone would kill the MLB. Back in those days there was no exposure unless u went to a game.

2 in a world where the big 3 can get a tv deal, you think a league with lebron james and other top tier nba players wouldn't get a big offer. Fox sports would kill to get that on tv opposite the nba.

I think you're overestimating the loyalty of people to organizations. If the league does they'll just adopt new teams on the new leagues. Happened to every other league that folded.

I notice that you didnt answer the questions alongside that argument. Do you know the top europe league players, top canadian or top Chinese players?

The NBA is credited with the growth of basketball in general worldwide, and built the brand globally in spite of other countries having their own leagues and stars. you're being delusional.

Platform > talent. There are streetballers with better handles than kyrie but they dont play on tv. There are singers in my church better than beyonce but they dont have deals so your average person will listen to rihanna sing instead given the choice.

The only reason you recognize lebron's talent is because its displayed in comparison to the other talent curated on that platform. You dont go to your local bbal courts or hs games looking for that talent. Only the NBA

Ypu're starting to lose grasp on the topic.

You started talking up NBA players not needing the entities like the NBA taking a share of revenue, I asked "how" and since then every single example/theory of how this would work involves it being funded by another large regulating entity. Which defeats the purpose of yoursl posts entirely.

Lebron would be copping pleas for anti semitism regardless of if his games air on FS1 or ESPN :mjlol: the threat of being deplatformed would only change hands and dumbasses would still be calling him a slave.

Nah you're just grossly underestimating the role of an organization/brand. Outside of the context of "pro black" rah rah talk these concepts make no sense.

We compare an NBA atheltes salary vs the league gross to slight them, yet you, as a business owner, are underpaid compared to your gross income.

Somehow the nuance in the costs of doing business is not lost on you when it comes to your own affairs, but when it comes to athletes we can feel comfortable saying wild unsubstantiated shyt like calling them slaves or slighting them for not trying make millions playing ball without the nba just so they can rap lyrics on instgram without backlash.

Its simple stuff but golks getting too caught up in out-blacking one another and criticizing celebs to realize it.

The Chinese and European leagues dont have the best players in the world so what are you really saying. The best players from those leagues dominate and win mvps 10 years straight and come to the Nba to be role players.

There are great players scattered over those many leagues, but the nba is the greatest concentration of elite basketball players.

Now if consensus top 3 picks started forgoing the nba and went overseas to play in the same league, the nba would be in trouble.

I know this is the coli and people think all white people have a secret agreement to help each other out, but nobody is turning in to see JJ Reddikk win mvps when there's another league with the best talent in the world.

The players absolutely have all the leverage, but so many of them are so stretched out financially taking care of extended family and making up for lost childhoods in addition to training that most players wouldn't have the time and money to set up a rival league. But if they did and all the top talent signed on to this new league, the nba would be done by the time its tv deal expires

Name the street ballers that can compete in the NBA... capitalism always finds the best product, and since sports is the closest thing to a meritocracy in America then, you gon need receipts

Money rules this country, so if you have a lot of it then you're not a slave.

Slaves had to work their whole lives so I guess Lebron will be working at lakers his whole life getting paid millions every year even when he’s no longer in the prime to perform. That’s how it works right? :troll:

John 14:6
Professor Black Truth dumb as hell for this one. No such thing as a multi-millionaire being a slave. :camby: The nerve :mjlol:. Athletes and entertainers being held accountable is not slavery. Was John Schnatter a slave because he lost his own company for saying some dumb ish? Be easy with the anti-black racism, breh.
