Because you can extrapolate the differences while acknowledging they're aiming for different feels. Forza is more of a cartoon while dc is a visceral experience.

So we can only compare what you perceive as advantages for Driveclub. But soon as its disadvantages are brought up comparisons are no longer valid.

There's no deflection here. If we were to make a chart comparing halo 5 with destiny halo would seem like a poor mans game.

You know this. Lemme ask you this, is halo 4 better than 2 because it has more stuff in it? less is more nikka. Why you think they cutting out stuff in halo 5? All that extra junk is worthless. Forza having 200 cars is pointless when 100 of them are mostly trash vehicles.

Apples and oranges breh.

Forza is going to be better than Drive Club unfortunately breh, Quad owners just gotta accept this till we get Gran Turismo 7 in 2030.

Why is it going to better? Because it's open circuit? All that extra stuff is subjective, it doesn't make it better.

Why are there people like @AkaDemiK that like 4v4 arena shooters like halo 2 over bigger and "better" games like bf4 which feature huge maps, 64 players.and vehicles? More isn't inherently better. Games like gt and forza Mainline series are more comparable since they're the exact same type of game.

Would an open world Ryse be better just because? it's why despite tomb raider being "open" compared to Tlou, Tlou is still better because it's more focused.
Here's a perfect example: batman arkham asylum is arguably better than arkham city. Why? Aa is more focused and to the point.

All types of Apples and Oranges all up in this nonsense :banderas:

Even without a comparison to any other game driveclub is VERY limited for a modern racing game. Hell I don't think any racing game last gen was limited to 50 non-tunable/customizable euro cars, and invisible walls lining the courses.

shyt sounds like a downloadable title, not a $60 AAA racer. :heh:

Forza is a better, more established franchise than the new IP Drive Club. I doubt dudes that have specialized in rally and off-road racers are gonna give Turn 10 a big run for their money like that.

The aim for Horizon is to provide an alternative to the sim racer with a more arcade feel(while still keep some of the sim physics) and it does that just fine. It's an open-world arcade racer with a great amount of content (both in race types, game modes, track and car selection). I loved hopping on Horizon with the homies and just speeding around, showing off our cars that we spent time designing, then taking off to the freeway for impromptu races. Homies that hated games like GT and the Motorsport line. The online game modes were also very fun and refreshing for a racer(instead of having to pretend to play cops and robbers or w/e), and I don't see why Horizon 2 would take a step backwards in that regard. Not to mention they decided to take it to a whole different aspect with the Rally expansion add-on. Horizon didn't have tuning, but it wasn't aiming for what Motorsport does...now that it does??? The interaction between drivers on the road, challenging them to impromptu races, driving manual + clutch, customizing your cars, the damage, tuning, the atmosphere of the game, etc. are all very valid reasons to see that Forza is going to be a better game than DC.

I've played a shyt ton of racers. I love the Gran Turismo series. Kazunori Yamauchi is a GOD for his vision and passion for racing games. Forza filled that void for me when I went to the 360 instead of the PS3. Both games lead the console racing scene with ease. I can see what Drive Club is going for, but it won't be better than its closed-circuit competition. It's got great graphics, the weather looks great and the hydroplaning looks fun as hell, so for that, I give DC it's props but that's where it stops. DC looks like it's in a weird mix between arcade and sim, but doesn't seem like it'll capture and identify itself with either side fully. The two Forza lines do that. Gran Turismo does that. Even games like WRC, Motorstorm, GRID and DIRT establish their identities on one side or the other, if we're gonna keep it thorough. The lack of tuning, japanese/american cars, customizing, etc. is huge. Game seems arcadey but wants to be respected like a sim, but lacks the components that make it a respectable sim. I respect that it gives 11 variations on the 5 locations for 55 different races though.

IMO Forza isn't Drive Club's competition. Games like GRID are, and IMO Grid was an underrated/overlooked racer.

Previews say the game is project gotham racing spiritual successor. if we can keep it 200, the only reason they're being compared are because it's exclusives. funny how the crew which is supposed to be more like forza is hardly mentioned.

All in all, all that "established" mumbo jumbo is irrelevant to me, a dope looking games catches my interest. Tomb raider got eclipsed by Uncharted and that wasn't established.

Basically, forza is done when driveclub releases. Nikkas want to not give the game its props cuz it's the new kid on the block.

Forgive the grammar and spelling cuz I'm on the phone. I hate posting on here like this, i sound like a dumb poster like meach.
