I might have missed something in the finale but I still don’t get his plan. He’s old as fukk. Doubt he’s trying to have kids and raise them.

I gotta get back on this. I don’t think I even finished season 1. I think I punched out because it was so different from the books but I’ve been hearing good things about the show.

I loved this season at the beginning, but it got a lil wonky around episodes 5-8. The Mule was looking like the ultimate villain. But in the end we was reminded why The Empire is the best part of the show. Brother Darkness with the ultimate crash out. Pritchard might be the most disappointing character of the season. Hari being around still is feeling forced. But it’s still entertaining and the show looks great as usual. Next season will be interesting because it’ll be the first that David Goyer isn’t involved at all so that can be really good or really bad. Hoping for the best because we don’t have a lot of good Sci Fi shows left so I hope they are able to finish the story

Goyer had an eight season outline, we'll see what happens

That person being the Mule was random as hell. There were no previous clues that hinted at such. Almost seemed like a last minute change by the writers.
I dont think it was a last minute swerve. They been planting seeds for it since Thorn/Bayta been on the screen. Think about how Pirate Mule was able to take over that whole fleet when we first saw him. He didnt do it on the battle field, Bayta converted all the higher ups during their wedding ceremony.

All that shyt with Pritchard recruiting Bayta/Thorn to help him in the club was him telling the mule shyt and she went right along with it to see what the Foundation was up to. Magnifico(Mags) came with her so easily because she was the real mule. Bayta was the one pushing for Mags to meet the foundation leaders.

When she had Mags play for Indbur and the others, that's when she converted them. That's why when Pirate Mule was still able to take over the Foundation's whisper fleet w/o having Mags with him didnt make sense. He shouldnt have been able to do it, but he did because Bayta was doing it and Mags was with her.

The biggest sign was when Bayta, Dawn, and Pirate Mule were in that hospital room. Pirate Mule was gonna keep fukking with Dawn but there was a weird interaction between Bayta and Pirate Mule that made it seem like he was leaving Dawn alone because of her suggesting it, which looked weird. That made me think she was a mentalic or w/e though, her being the mule didnt cross my mind.

there were little signs, but it was still mildly goofy
The ending with Gaal/Mule was really goofy for me. Not the reveal but us not seeing why Gaal didnt kill her or why she leaving. We leave the scene with Gaal basically in control but we come back and Gaal running and jumping outta windows and shyt leaving everyone.

Sorta worried about the seasons going forward. Goyer said he aint touched shyt in the season past episode 4. He said he gave the new team his outline but doubt they will follow it. I know they had an issue with budget cuts but I hope this doesnt cause a dip in quality of the writing. I wont mind if the vfx take a hit if the writing stays strong.
