This 10000%

These in the moment ass nikkas forget how good he was with a shytty line most his career. He won a ring and saw two SBs. How the fukk is Rivers on there and not Wilson?

And yes, Elway is way too fukking high. Dude got carried by his RB and had to switch teams to win his rings on some Lebron shyt.

Ranking Mahomes ahead of Peyton smacks of ring culture. Peyton literally won 5 MVPs and revolutionized how the position was played. Mahomes is more clutch but is he really playing the position better than Manning did?

And what argument does Marino have over Rodgers exactly? He had arguably the GOAT season in 84 and probably the greatest QB start to a career ever but he never touched those heights again after that 4 year period.

Rodgers was still a Top 5 QB deep into his late 30s.

I know you're a Saints fan, but there is no argument for Brees over Peyton Manning.

None, zero, not one, zilch, nada.
How many of Brees’ teammates will join him in the HoF? Who threw for more yards, TDs, etc? SB 44, what happened there?

Would be nice to see the reasoning and criteria.

Cause often “best QB” and “best player to play the QB position” are different things. And it’s really hard to filter out things in general in football.

And if you consider the fact that QB skills changed over time for various reasons, no limited to rules. Like a passer rating/QBR from the 90s that you make you an mvp candidate would barely get you regular season headlines in the golden era.

Then of course adjusting for team, like o-line, receivers, play calling etc. Clutchness is very important since in the end the whole game is about winning and delivering in bowl games, so how does that filter in.

Other than, name wise I can’t argue :yeshrug:

Marino aint Top 5, his playoff resume really aint that great. He was a Regular Season Warrior;

•I'd put Manning over Mahomes still but thats a personal thing. They have the Top 4 right

Wasted no time contradicting yourself:beli:

Let's take a look a look at those playoff resumes;
Marino: 8-10
Manning: 14-13
Mahomes: 17-4

We know it's a personal thing because it damn sure ain't about logic. Mahomes clears Manning easily.

A. Lamar is waaaaay too low.

B. Marino is below Rodgers, Farve, and Brees.

C. Eli shouldn't be on that list. Outside of those two lucky-ass super bowl runs, his career largely amounted to mediocre finishes. Buddy was never a top 5 QB in the league at ANY point.

D. Dan Fouts is too high.

E. How is Warren Moon over Lamar?

F. Mahomes needs to go below Manning as of now.

G. Kurt Warner is too low.

H. Stafford is too low.
