Lol @ how each of your posts get longer and longer to try and prove how mad you supposedly are not. Also lol @ demanding a comprehensive plan on the level of something like the White House would provide, knowing damn well you don't have the understanding to come up with anything basic, let alone on the level of what you are demanding.

Here.

Regulation like mandating people get emergency coverage only, rather than the overreaching full coverage of ACA. Regulation like incentivizing good health habits and regular checkups. Etc.

This means get the govt out of mortgage subsidies. It hasn't done anything but distort the market in ways that are a detriment to the avg American.

This means the govt should either get out of the college loan business, or at least make regulations that put a reasonable cap on how much people could borrow. Govt should also put colleges on the hook for money borrowed for students who don't graduate, as that is the real student loan killer.

Etc etc. Now where is your investment grade 100 step plan to revitalize the American economy? I want references, links and footnotes as well as all the math behind your statistical analyses.

THANK YOU. Was that soooooooo hard? It's at least a start. And I'm not on the hook to revitalize the economy. You wanted a certain question asked. I asked it and wanted YOU to offer solutions. You threw down the gauntlet and had to be dragged kicking and screaming to the finish line of your own challenge. And if my posts are "long" you have serious intelligence deficiencies. But you did a good job today. Pat yourself on the back and go give your greasy wife the best 3 minutes of her life. You earned it kiddo!

Your "solutions" aren't much different than your other responses you offered but I'll take it easy on you. Once again you are just trying to turn the clock back on policies you currently disagree with instead of fixing the damaged system. But at least you scribbled on the paper or drooled a bit instead of leaving it blank.

But anyway, back to laughing at the misery of displaced workers.

Looks like jobs in tech maintenance will soon be on the rise because those machines will still need humans to troubleshoot and maintain them.

hmmm unless you build maintinence droids to fix them...:leostare:

and then have the droids run a subroutine to fix themselves... :heh:

China.... Will never learn. The Terminator story was a warning on a dependance on machines and making them too smart.

:pachaha: I knew you were referring to their state-directed market economy(or authoritarian capitalism).

China on the surface is a curious mix of communism and unfettered capitalism, but as long as the communist party is in power, and their constitution specifically states communist, guess what? Their communist.

Perhaps most importantly though, the communist party dictates all senior personnel appointments in ministries and companies, universities and the media, through a shadowy and little-known body called the Organization Department. Through the department, the party oversees just about every significant position in every field in the country.
Are you familiar with the PLA? :dwillhuh:

They have embraced much of what makes the market based economy work, but to say they are no longer communist? Thats a bit much.

edit: i could be wrong though :ehh: They could have done away with all the state owned nonsense. Links? :ld:

If you don't think executive pay is a problem, I don't know what to tell you. They are making a significant portion of a company's revenue and its keeping your pay down.

Automation is killing jobs much faster than they are created. The model has always been that for every job technology kills, it creates 2. Not so anymore and robotics, manufacturing and programming become more efficient. This used to be an unskilled labor problem, but its becoming a skilled labor problem quickly. Ask a lawyer about discovery software.

There will be some kind of revolution in the next 50 years if China hasn't started WWIII already.

Ummm bad policies are what damaged the system. Bad policies accelerated outsourcing and automation. Bad policies are driving up the prices of necessities. Bad policies are killing jobs.

I am not one of those guys who thinks we should dissolve the govt. But we have a govt that is simultaneously big + far reaching and bad + incompetent. It's acting in the interest of a few rather than the general public. That has to change.

You say Im "just trying to turn back the clock on policies I dont agree with". OK, now it's time for you to post your solutions, so we can see if they just don't do the same thing in the direction you want them to. Because I don't see how you can effect the change you want without the govt, and the refrain you keep implying about getting at the rich punitively has already been done. So if my solutions are so mediocre, put yours up and lets see how water proof they are :sas1:
