To be technical, BOTH Kim and Foxy emerged in '95 and dropped their 1st solo album in '96..... to which at the time FOXY was the bigger star. Foxy should of been honor. She was on the same LEVEL as Kim and was the main reason fans pitted them against each other. It's like honoring Magic and not Bird.

I feel you but lil kim has more classic albums, verses(arguable), songs, sold more records & is way more influential.

Foxy did her thing for sure but lil kim will always come first when it comes to her lane (foxy,nicki,trina,maybe iggy & etc)

Maybe foxy will get honored next time though she deserves it

Hardcore was more successful more highly heralded more highly rated & one of the few female hip hop albums that can be mentioned with some of the best male hip hop albums

And La belle mafia was dope as fukk to & put her in atg & iconic status which imo & some others is her best album

The naked truth was a really good whether you think its a classic or not

Ill na na was good not classic, china doll was trash & broken silence was decent

Their both dope though & both were very instrumental in the female gangsta rapper & nasty rap era, & will go down as icons in female hip hop history

But kim had a longer run sold more records & is more acclaimed globally & influential & imo the better emcee

Even though they both have been acussed of having ghost writers

If lil kim didnt fukk up her face she would be considered goat status

Apparently only came out in Germany due to label politics though

If it only came out in Germany, than it didn't come out.
