What do you mean what has she done? One could even argue that some of her work helped open up the lane for Rihanna.

she's the same tier as Kim, Kim's over the top personality/antics pushed her higher in pop culture, but all of us growing up looked at them equally. her and kim both changed the game for female mc's, i don't think kim changes the paradigm of how a female mc presents herself to the game alone. she and foxy were both raunchy as shyt and ran with heavy weights. the fact that fox killed on a track with LL, keith murray, prodigy, outshined jigga early on, rocked with the firm, and had a very dope album in broken silence is a testament to her deserving to be honored. that said, i'm sure she'll get hers, you can't do everyone in one ceremony

i was assuming that she wasn;t honored cuz they were gonna do it next year. if you look at the TL it makes sense for her to be honored next year (everyone honored this year came out/flourished before her)

and then i assumed she wasnt invited because of Kim

her and kim's runs basically align, with kim having a hit or two a few years later into the 2000's with jumpoff and magic stick. kim and fox both hit the national scene in 95

i don't think she needed to be honored like the other 4, but if you're talking about the women in hip hop history like they did at the end, you CANNOT omit Foxy and Lauryn Hill regardless of whatever. They are etched in there.

exactly...you cant cyse lil kim and Foxy..they had the same run pretty much, down to being in super groups and having a clyde to their bonnie..they one in the same
