People comparing Nas taking Months to respond to Jay need to take a few things into account....
1). Nas’s FIRST response (Stillmatic Freestyle) came out a few short weeks after Jay’s Summer Jam taunt.
2). Nas matched Jay on including his diss on the actual album. It only made sense to do it that way.
Push and Drake aren’t including Disses on their albums so that kind of shortens the “response” cycle. Also the Nas/Jay battle was hyped by months of magazine interviews and radio interviews where there was NO doubt that there was going to be a response. 2000-01 was a verrryyyyy different time in Hip Hop than 2018
