I don't have a problem with people saying Drake is 1-up, or has the better song. The problems I got are way bigger than that.
Rap in 2018 is already disposable as fukk, it sets a dangerous precedent to say cats gotta respond in 24 hours. Rap beefs used to be chess, they're trying to turn this shyt into tennis.
Matter of fact, it's bigger than rap. Social media and the internet in general have already destroyed any sense of anticipation for literally anything....but nah, let's put something else on the clock. Cats gotta respond faster than it takes milk to expire.

pusha is a much more calculated artist. he plays chess. dude probably getting a new beat crafted by ye (which might take take days), possibly shooting a video, etc.i think it was more the calculated timing, than the song itself..
everyone was so gassed about Pusha T sh!t, the LAST thing they expected was an immediate response.. that sh!t was quick, and Pusha just got caught lackin.. now, he cant exchange the same energy..
how you gonna talk all that fly sh!t about somebody.. go on a media run, and think sh!t is sweet..? not to mention the fact, Drake kept it hip-hop.. wasnt on Twitter/IG making idle threats.. didnt release a snippet.. he exchanged bars, and immediately.. in the grand scheme of things, that puts him one up..

nikka took 5 years to drop an album, he's not about to shyt out a diss track like Meek did just because this generation is addicted to instant responses on social media
Pusha may not be able to win in the court of public opinion because Drake is more willing to bring in memes to win the people over. But if Pusha were to release a track that's super lethal, Hip Hop heads in the future when it's all said and done will know to separate the outside from the music. Drake is calculated, so he knows that there's more to it in 2018. It's the same way how Drake won the whole Joe Budden thing by not responding, but anybody who looks at the songs alone will tell you that Joe really went at him.
So I say all of that to say, I agree with you. People want a response right at this second, but it doesn't matter because most people have already have it set in their minds that Pusha lost already. He's better off working on a response that's potent, because even if the people don't feel it... His intended target should, which is what matters.
Drake may also have some responses ready to go, too. Dunno if he's gonna do a Back to Back again but Drake probably has more in the tank.

I really dont see where youre trying to go with this. You can have your opinion on the song itself but deliverywise it isnt any different than his other music.
Telling me how it could/should be better with more time for edits, multiple takes and mastering is irrelevant. duh, it was written and released in less than a day. thats the point.
A dude question an Emcee's pen and get carved up in less than a day, if youre gonna claim it was ghostwritten you better have some proof.

Bruh. This isn't a face to face battle competition. These are DIS SONGS. Of course you supposed to take that time to write it, get the best production to go with it, perfect your performance and the have it engineered and mastered.
You talking as if Drake killed Pusha-T because he responded quickly when dissecting the song itself, it was WEAK. The only so-called strength was the lyrics even though they were basic and defensive. In a nutshell it was RUSH and Drake could of done better had he took time on it.
The ONLY thing that getting him by is the fact Drake have the hype machine behind him.
