i think it was more the calculated timing, than the song itself..
everyone was so gassed about Pusha T sh!t, the LAST thing they expected was an immediate response.. that sh!t was quick, and Pusha just got caught lackin.. now, he cant exchange the same energy..
how you gonna talk all that fly sh!t about somebody.. go on a media run, and think sh!t is sweet..? not to mention the fact, Drake kept it hip-hop.. wasnt on Twitter/IG making idle threats.. didnt release a snippet.. he exchanged bars, and immediately.. in the grand scheme of things, that puts him one up..![]()
Since Drake brought Kante into it, seems like responding on whatever project he got coming out would be the smart thing to do.
im not even a pusha fan, but youre being disingenuous if you think social media wouldnt sway in drake's favor and ultimately affect public perception. and youre being willfully obtuse if you think drake's fanbase would judge a pusha t song objectively. youre giving them way too much credit. when and if pusha drops a superior diss, you'll see it firsthand
I mean Drake did just drop the new "Ether".
