Gibbs woulda been better off signing with Master P over Jeezy.

once again, why is everyone complaining when it seems gibbs is still making the same projects he wants to make?
fact is, until he comes out with a certified club banger, he won't blow like he should

Thank you someone finally said it. Why do yall keep thinking Jeezy is holding Gibbs back from doing anything? Gibbs already said numerous times that he doesn't wait on Jeezy for anything and he puts out the projects that he wants to when he wants to. He even went on tour with Madlib in Russia and other parts of Europe a few months ago. Even if he gets a major "single" that gets burns you same nikkas would be up in here talking about he going pop and shyt if he started doing tracks with Drake or Wayne b/c thats what its gonna take for him to get that "it" single. Jeezy aint enough. Face it Gibbs could have all the co-signs in the world and he still wouldn't be marketable in this climate. He's just too raw and refuses to play the industry game and speaks his mind so this dream of him blowing up aint happening. Like I always say as long as the the music doesn't suffer and he aint sacrificing his integrity I could care less. Bring on Cocaine Pinata.

I like a wide variety of rap artist because of their MUSIC. What the hell I care about an "industry plant" and all that? U really think Gibbs is actually gonna say that Jeezy IS holding him back. if Jeezy wanted Gibbs to blow, Gibbs would have at least been on TM103 to get Gibbs more buzz. Jeezy has proven to be a horrrible "CEO" Who has jeezy put out on CTE? nobody. It would be in Jeezy's best interest to market/push Gibbs as much as he could. i things Gibbs is raw as fucc and it would be a tragedy if he only amounts to bein a mixtape rapper.

Simple. Even the people who swear sales don't matter or those that don't claim they're stans wanna see a rapper like Gibbs be successful on a bigger scale as they feel that if Gibbs somehow blows up successfully by being himself, then the sheep that are the music industry will follow suit and have artists promoted just like him, and then and ONLY then, hip-hop will win.
But then those same fans always wake up from that dream, face reality, head to their favorite message board, and bytch.
