To me, the type of neighborhood I want to live in is people that have jobs and stuff to lose.

I done lived around aint shyt people of a lot of races. Best neighborhood i ever lived in was 50/50 Black & white because damn near everybody got up to go to work and wasnt on any bullshyt.

My thing is of course you want to protect yourself and your family as best you can and a big part of that is avoiding and removing yourself from certain crowds. But why even broadcast that shyt he didn't even have to bring up how he doesn't want to be around "nikkas". Any grown man with some sense doesn't want to be in that element so the whole I'm not a regular nikka talk is irrelevant matter of fact nobody really knows who the fukk he is anyway. This is actually like my 2nd time ever seeing this dude's face I've seen his name mentioned on message boards over the years and I think jeezy signed him that's it never was on dude's music. He's certainly not a star nor popular. If he's drawing negative attention from goons that's because he's moving wrong and or he still on some street shyt. I've driven nice cars every since I bought my first one and I wear jewelry all the time never got tried for none of my shyt.

I wish folks would start using income, and not just race regarding this subject. Nobody is escaping the hood by moving to a trailer park. Life doesn’t become better by simply living around white people.

I grew up in Michigan -- and I grew up in an Upper Middle Class Black ADOS Neighborhood - and my family still lives there. A Black neighborhood doesn't have to be "rich" in Beverley Hills standard to be prospering, safe and nice.

We only had two non-Black families -- and they are still there -- and all the families who have died - made sure they sold to another Black ADOS family.

When I see a White person on our street -- I be ready to call the police -- cause it's rare - and I don't trust them. They are always surprised it's an all Black neighborhood - staring and looking at our homes. But, it is -- and it was built to be that way.

I get what he is saying. As a rapper your always going to be a target if you stay in the hood. Living in a cac neighborhood is definitely not better but is more ideal in his situation because he can keep a low profile since most of the whites there wouldn’t even know who he is. Let’s not forget that Nipsey and a bunch of other high profile rappers were killed in the hood. Gibbs grew up in Gary so I’ll also give him a pass for that. This isn’t c00n shyt, it’s common sense and don’t act like you wouldn’t do the same thing in his situation.
