Why do people care about other people's lawns ?

Some people hold the view that where they live and the people that live there represents them. If I’m a successful business man, I may want to live in a neighborhood and around people that represents ‘success’. And the assumption is, the other people that live and/or move there want/represents the same thing. So a neighbor who doesn’t take care of their property is going to screw up that energy which defeats the whole purpose of you choosing that neighborhood in the first place. So people will naturally be annoyed.

I don't care about black or white but as I get wealthier I am planning on moving to a wealthier neighborhood. Most of them just happen to be white due to economics. The chances of me getting robbed are greater than racists affecting my life. I'm in a a good neighborhood now and weve had nikkas stealing catalytic convertors.

I get where he’s coming from. It was light-c00ning but not as bad as the thread title made it. If you’re a rich rapper, you’re going to be more of a target in an urban neighbourhood.

If he moved to a rich white suburb, I doubt most people would even know who he is. They’d just assume he’s a rapper or athlete.

I live in a suburb and I’d rather deal with passive aggressive racist CACs than have to look over my shoulder constantly.
